What started as a routine morning show promo turned into a jaw-dropping moment viewers didn’t see coming.
Fox News host Abby Hornacek found herself at the center of a viral frenzy Saturday after getting body slammed live on air during a Fox & Friends segment. The segment was meant to spotlight Real American Freestyle, an upcoming wrestling event set to stream on Fox Nation — but things escalated fast.
In the now-circulating clip, Olympic silver medalist and reigning RAF women’s middleweight champion Kennedy Blades, 22, decided to give viewers a real taste of the action. She demonstrated a suplex by lifting Hornacek off the ground and flipping her over her shoulder, sending the host crashing onto a mat in front of stunned viewers.

Before the stunt, Hornacek admitted she was “nervous” — and honestly, who wouldn’t be? But in a surprising twist, she popped right back up after the slam, smiling, high-fiving Blades, and brushing it off like a pro.
Later, she took to X with a playful recap: “Got suplexed by an Olympian today. So that was cool.”
On-air, Hornacek reassured viewers the move “looked worse than it was,” even calling the experience “a lot of fun” — though she joked she might be done stepping onto the mat anytime soon.
Still, not everyone watching was convinced it was all harmless fun.
The clip quickly sparked concern online, with some viewers calling the stunt “reckless” and pointing out how close Hornacek appeared to landing on her head. Others said she was lucky to walk away without serious injury.
Whether you saw it as entertaining or risky, one thing is certain — this wasn’t your typical morning TV segment.
