A tragic freak accident has claimed the life of Sunjay Kapur, a billionaire businessman and close friend of Prince William, after he reportedly suffered a fatal heart attack caused by swallowing a bee during a polo match.
Kapur, 53, was the chairman of international auto parts giant Sona Comstar and a well-known figure on the high-society polo circuit, often seen at events attended by British royals.
According to multiple reports, the incident occurred while Kapur was playing in a match. He inadvertently swallowed a bee, which triggered a severe reaction and sudden heart failure. Emergency responders were called, but he was unable to be revived.
Known for his connections to elite circles in both business and royal society, Kapur’s death has left those close to him stunned.
