Ghislaine Maxwell was reportedly introduced to VIP guests at Buckingham Palace as “Prince Andrew’s ex-girlfriend”.

The 61-year-old prince appears in a newly-published photograph from 2002, which shows him at his mother Queen Elizabeth’s official residence with Maxwell – who is facing 40 years in jail after being convicted of sex offences – as well as former US president Bill Clinton.

The former US leader was being given a tour of the palace with disgraced ‘House of Cards’ actor Kevin Spacey, and another member of the group claimed Maxwell seemed to know the royal residence well.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph newspaper – who have published the photograph – the unnamed person said: “Ghislaine Maxwell was the one who led us into Buckingham Palace. We walked in the main gates and Ghislaine showed us where we needed to be. She knew her way around this area of the palace. Ghislaine was described to me [as] an ex-girlfriend of Prince Andrew’s.

“The tour was for Clinton and Spacey – they were Prince Andrew’s guests. But Ghislaine seemed to be leading the charge. The impression we all had was that there was some relationship there between Prince Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell.

“They clearly knew each other very well. She was very friendly and cheery.”

Sources have previously insisted Andrew – who is being sued by Virginia Giuffre, who has alleged she was forced into having sex with him when she was just 17 years old – had “no recollection” of being present for the tour, which took place on 30 September, 2002.

The photograph was taken in the ballroom and shows Andrew pointing into the distance while Maxwell, to his left, looks over at Mr. Clinton while he examined two thrones.

Giuffre – who was formerly known as Virginia Roberts – has accused convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein – who committed suicide in August 2019 – and his one-time girlfriend Maxwell of arranging and forcing her into having sex with Andrew in 2001.

The prince has denied all of the allegations and in legal documents insisted he and Maxwell were not “close friends”.

Andrew – who is not facing any legal action in the UK – previously requested a trial by jury and is due to sit for a deposition in London next month.

  1. Why is it the women in these men’s lives feel compelled to assist them to further abuse young ladies? Being a child of abuse, it disgusts me and as a young woman, I always spoke up but my cries were muffled and not believed. As a woman in her late 50’s, I am still disgusted that the court system didn’t hold them accountable sooner. Why must there be a smear campaign against the young ladies instead of the men & women who perpetuated this behavior? These young ladies were most likely a target in all aspects of their lives; I know I was. My jobs would make concessions for the men who touched me inappropriately and I was the one who ended up losing my job. Why was that? I surely hope that this country has ceased in their inappropriate alignment with these men in positions of power. My life was hell and I never understood why companies would want perverts in their employment but can only tell women who are going through the same hell to speak up and speak loudly. I know I did everything in my power to end it where I worked, regardless if I lost my job or not! I was & still am worth more than those men who tried to take advantage of me. For those women who cried wolf when nothing happened; shame on you! Thank you Dana Pressbury for believing in me; I am forever grateful to you.

  2. There is a truth, that is impossible to ignore. Historically and currently – women have been at the mercy of men. Earlier on – physical strength prevailed. Currently – who holds the power to hire and fire generally speaking. For the most part – who wrote the rules/laws…that, back then women were not even “allowed” to vote. Who decided that law??? Now we do vote, and sadly – we voted as we were TOLD to. Back when women were not “allowed” to attend college…
Today…we have demanded and acquired these “rights”….but, sadly – all the rights do NOT change male perspective. In their view – YOU can be his employee…but should NOT be his boss. In his view, (not all of course – but far too many) He has certain unalienable rights….His rights begin where yours end. Of course it takes some womenbv30 years to open up – come forward – describr “details”…. painful memories that likely altered ones life and choices. If its your boss…and he knows you need thejob, if its a Dr., if its a professor,
since it is almost always….Her word against is word………….If she was alone in the park…her motives are questioned. If is is alone in the park…his
motives are not questioned. The girls and young women of today must become a powerful voice and force in official offices that can write laws that protect women. If they don’t produce hefty punishments and deterrents – We united in the 60s – they need to unite now……they need to make the laws of the land that will be helpful….if they don’t nothing will change…
