A newlywed has mysteriously vanished from his Upstate New York home, leaving behind his cellphone, wallet and car as his devastated wife begs him to come home.

Dominick Bianchi, 35, was last seen around 10 a.m. Tuesday at his home in East Greenbush, just south of Albany, according to police.

Bianchi had only married his wife, Julianna Zyra, a few months earlier. Now, Zyra is desperately hoping someone can help bring him home.

Speaking through tears to News 10, Zyra made a direct plea to her missing husband.

“Whatever it is that’s going on, there are so many people who care about you and want you to be OK,” she said.

“I know you feel really alone, but there are people who want to help you. If you’re seeing this, please, come home.”

Zyra said Bianchi has struggled with mental health issues “for quite some time” and urged people online to stop speculating about what may have happened.

“It’s not fair,” she said. “And I really wish people would stay off the internet, hypothesizing things that happened. He’s very sick and he is not in the right headspace.”

The family’s fears are even greater because Bianchi has type 1 diabetes and may not have insulin with him.

“He has a continuous glucose monitor, which is paired to his phone that he doesn’t have,” Zyra said.

Bianchi is described as 5-foot-11 and was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black long-sleeve shirt and possibly a baseball cap.

He also has several distinctive tattoos, including a skull and roses on his chest, a baseball tattoo on his right arm and a cross tattoo on his back.

The East Greenbush Police Department has asked residents to search their properties, including sheds and vehicles, and to review trail cameras and home surveillance footage for any sign of Bianchi.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact East Greenbush police at 518-479-2525.
