Alan Ritchson is not tiptoeing around Donald Trump — and the Reacher star just delivered one of his most blistering attacks yet.
The 43-year-old actor, best known for playing the hulking Jack Reacher in Amazon Prime Video’s hit action series, unloaded on Trump during a new appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, demanding the release of the unredacted Jeffrey Epstein files and accusing powerful figures in Washington of hiding behind blacked-out pages.
Ritchson, whose tough-guy crime thriller has attracted plenty of conservative viewers, made it clear he has no interest in softening his criticism to keep that audience comfortable.
“The f—ing Epstein files! Goddammit, where are they?” Ritchson said during the heated interview, according to The Daily Beast and Entertainment Weekly. “It’s a f—ing law, f—ing show it.”

The actor’s anger centered on the still-redacted material connected to Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender whose ties to wealthy, famous, and politically powerful men have remained the subject of years of public outrage.
Ritchson said he wants names exposed and accountability pursued, arguing that the country should not simply move on while alleged abusers remain protected.
“You f—ing pedophiles,” he said. “I shouldn’t say f— because I’m Christian. And people are going to be like, ‘How can he say f— and he’s a Christian?’ Because that is something that should make you want to say f—!”
Then came the line that immediately lit up social media.
Referring to Trump, Ritchson said, “That b—h has the keys to the nuclear. He’s all up into 13-year-olds. Dude, what? Go to jail!”
The White House pushed back hard after the remarks, calling the underlying allegations against Trump “completely baseless accusations, backed by zero credible evidence,” according to Entertainment Weekly.
Trump has not been criminally charged in connection with the 13-year-old accuser’s claims and has denied allegations of sexual misconduct tied to the Epstein matter.
Still, Ritchson’s comments tapped directly into the growing demand from Trump critics, transparency advocates, and even some members of the president’s own base who want the Epstein files released without heavy redactions.
The Daily Beast reported that the Epstein documents included FBI interviews with a woman who accused Trump of assaulting and raping her when she was 13 years old in 1994. She was interviewed by the FBI multiple times in 2019, though Trump was never charged.
Ritchson said he would release the files himself if he had the chance.
“I would f—ing railroad these f—ers,” he said. “I would get those Epstein files out in two seconds. Yeah, dude. Two seconds. F—ing move out of the way. Like, get out of there. I don’t care what room they’re in, b—-, move! Give me the f—ing manila envelope. I will get you the Epstein files.”
The outburst marked another chapter in Ritchson’s increasingly public break with the right-wing fans who embraced Reacher’s hard-hitting, law-and-order appeal.
While Jack Reacher may look like the kind of no-nonsense action hero conservatives often celebrate, the actor behind him has repeatedly made clear that his personal politics do not fit neatly into MAGA expectations.
Ritchson previously drew backlash after an old photo resurfaced showing him wearing an “Arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor” T-shirt. The National Fraternal Order of Police slammed him as a “useless Hollywood actor” and accused him of “virtue signaling.”
Ritchson did not retreat.
In a later interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he said police accountability was a serious issue and argued that law enforcement needed major reform.
“Cops get away with murder all the time, and the fact that we can’t really hold them accountable for their improprieties is disturbing to me,” he said at the time.
He also took aim at the disconnect between Trump’s support among Christian conservatives and the allegations surrounding him.
“Trump is a rapist and a con man, and yet the entire Christian church seems to treat him like he’s their poster child and it’s unreal,” Ritchson previously told The Hollywood Reporter. “I don’t understand it.”
His latest remarks are sure to deepen the divide between the actor and some of the conservative viewers who helped make Reacher a streaming powerhouse.
But Ritchson does not seem worried about alienating them.
Instead, he is leaning into the fight, using his platform to demand answers on one of the darkest scandals still hanging over America’s political and celebrity elite.
For Democrats and anti-Trump voters, his message landed as a raw expression of what many have been saying for years: release the files, stop protecting the powerful, and let the public see exactly who was named.
For Trump’s defenders, it was another Hollywood attack on a president they believe has been unfairly targeted.
Either way, Ritchson made sure the conversation will not fade quietly.
And with the Epstein files still at the center of a political firestorm, one of television’s biggest action stars just turned up the heat.
