A woman who alleged she was sexually assaulted by Donald Trump when she was just 13 years old has reportedly gone into hiding, according to a family member who says she fears retaliation as the Jeffrey Epstein files controversy continues to spiral.
The woman, identified only as Jane Doe 4, has accused Epstein of trafficking and abusing her when she was a child. She has also alleged that Epstein introduced her to Trump in the 1980s, when she was around 13 years old.
Now, a family member has told The Guardian that Jane Doe 4 is “staying off the grid” as the explosive allegations resurface and the legal battle over the Epstein files puts fresh pressure on Trump’s Justice Department.
The shocking claims have returned to the spotlight just as Trump faces another major legal blow. The Supreme Court recently rejected his final appeal in the E. Jean Carroll case, leaving in place a civil jury’s finding that Trump sexually abused the writer.
Meanwhile, U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan has ordered acting Attorney General Todd Blanche to release unredacted versions of certain Epstein-related files that have already been made public by the Justice Department, or explain why they should remain hidden. The DOJ was also ordered to release interview notes connected to Jane Doe 4’s allegations.
Jane Doe 4 reportedly spoke with the FBI four times in 2019, shortly after Epstein was arrested on federal child sex-trafficking charges. At the time, Trump was serving his first term in the White House.
According to a redacted FBI report released as part of the Epstein files fallout, Jane Doe 4 claimed Trump forced her to perform a sexual act on him and then punched her in the side of the head after she allegedly bit him.
Trump allegedly yelled, “Get this little b—h the hell out of here,” according to an FBI memo summarizing one of the interviews.
The allegation is deeply disturbing, but it remains unproven. There is no indication that an official investigation into the allegation involving Trump was conducted, and The Post and Courier, which reviewed handwritten FBI interview notes, reported that it was unable to corroborate her claims involving Trump.
Jane Doe 4 also alleged that Epstein sexually assaulted her multiple times in South Carolina. She further accused another man, identified by The Post and Courier as businessman Jimmy Atkins.
A family member told The Guardian that Jane Doe 4 has suffered years of trauma and abuse, beginning in childhood.
“Trauma is brutal. Chronic trauma destroys,” the relative said. “She’s coping as best she can.”
Trump has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing connected to Epstein’s sex-trafficking crimes. The White House has also blasted Jane Doe 4’s accusations as baseless.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt previously told The Daily Beast that the allegations are “backed by zero credible evidence.”
“The total baselessness of these accusations is also supported by the obvious fact that Joe Biden’s Department of Justice knew about them for four years and did nothing with them—because they knew President Trump did absolutely nothing wrong,” Leavitt said.
Leavitt also claimed that Trump has been “totally exonerated” by the Epstein files.
Trump and Epstein were known to have socialized for years before their relationship reportedly soured in the 2000s. Trump has long insisted he had no involvement in Epstein’s crimes and has downplayed the connection.
But with a federal judge now demanding more transparency from the DOJ, the Epstein files controversy is once again dragging Trump’s name into a scandal Democrats say deserves far more scrutiny.
For critics, the issue is not only what the files may contain, but why so much has remained hidden for so long.
For Trump’s defenders, the latest allegations are another politically motivated attack built on claims they say have never been proven.
Either way, the case is now back in the national spotlight — and the pressure on the Trump administration to release more of the Epstein files is only growing.
