Trump Is ‘Losing Control Over His Body’ According to Niece

President Donald Trump’s outspoken niece is once again taking aim at her famous uncle, this time claiming his alleged cognitive decline is becoming “obvious” as he nears his 80th birthday.

Mary Trump made the explosive remarks during the Wednesday, June 11, episode of her podcast, where she suggested the president is facing what she called a “perfect storm of horrors.”

“We’re at a perfect storm of horrors for Donald,” Mary claimed. “He’s losing control over his body. As this gets worse, there are more and more similarities between him and his father who had very serious Alzheimer’s.”

Her comments immediately added fuel to the latest round of political attacks over Trump’s health, an issue Democrats have repeatedly tried to spotlight even as the White House insists the president remains sharp, energetic and fully capable of doing the job.

Mary, who has long been one of Trump’s harshest critics, compared him to his late father, Fred Trump, who died in 1999 at age 93 after struggling with Alzheimer’s disease. She claimed her grandfather’s condition began worsening around the same age Trump is now.

“My grandfather’s Alzheimer’s began worsening at just about the same age as Donald is now,” she said.

She then took the attack even further, saying Fred Trump had been “much healthier physically” than the current president.

The remarks come as Democrats continue to push questions about Trump’s mental fitness. In April, Rep. Jamie Raskin, a top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, called for Trump to undergo a “comprehensive” cognitive test after a series of social media posts and public remarks sparked concern among critics.

“In recent days, the country has watched President Trump’s public statements and outbursts turn increasingly incoherent, volatile, profane, deranged and threatening,” Raskin wrote in a letter at the time.

He claimed Trump’s “apparently deteriorating condition” had caused “tremendous alarm” about the president’s ability to serve.

The White House did not let the attack go unanswered.

A spokesperson blasted Raskin and accused Democrats of hypocrisy, pointing to years of questions surrounding former President Joe Biden’s own mental and physical fitness.

“President Trump’s sharpness, unmatched energy, and historic accessibility stand in stark contrast to what we saw during the past four years when Democrats like Raskin intentionally covered up Joe Biden’s serious mental and physical decline from the American people,” the White House said in a statement to The Hill.

Trump has also repeatedly defended his own health and mental acuity. Last month, he said his latest physical at Walter Reed Medical Center went extremely well.

“Everything checked out PERFECTLY,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “Thank you to the great Doctors and Staff!”

On May 31, Trump also said he received a perfect score on what he described as a “high difficulty” cognitive exam. He claimed the result showed “extreme intelligence” and argued that anyone running for president or vice president should be required to take the same kind of test.

But some medical experts pushed back on Trump’s description of the exam. Dr. Jonathan Reiner wrote on X that the MOCA exam is not an IQ test, but a dementia screening tool.

“I’m glad the president did well on the MOCA exam, but it’s a dementia screening tool, not an IQ test,” Reiner said, adding that a score of 26 or higher is considered normal cognitive performance.

Still, for Trump’s supporters, the latest uproar is likely to look like another politically convenient attack from the same critics who spent years downplaying concerns about Biden’s health. For his opponents, Mary Trump’s warning is another reason to keep asking questions.

And with Trump now 79, every stumble, statement and social media blast is being watched more closely than ever.
