A quick cruise down Interstate 95 just turned into a full-blown internet meltdown.

A viral video out of Florida has people doing double-takes after a stunned driver filmed a man he was convinced was Jeffrey Epstein — yes, the late disgraced financier who died in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019 — casually rolling down the highway like nothing ever happened.

“Epstein is alive. Epstein is alive!” the driver can be heard saying in the now-spreading clip, as he pans to a convertible cruising right alongside him. The man behind the wheel has white hair, sharp features, and the kind of look that instantly set the conspiracy corner of the internet on fire.

Except… it wasn’t Epstein.

The driver in the drop-top is actually a man known as “Palm Beach Pete,” who popped up afterward to shut the rumors down — and he didn’t seem too upset about his sudden brush with infamy.

“Hey everybody, this is Palm Beach Pete,” he said in a follow-up video, confirming he’s just a random guy who got filmed without even realizing it. According to Pete, he was simply driving on I-95 “unbeknownst” to him that someone was recording — and then, out of nowhere, he woke up to find himself turned into a viral “Epstein sighting.”

“And the next thing I know, I’m a viral sensation,” he said, adding that the clip “got a lot of traction” and calling the whole thing “pretty crazy.”

In other words: no jailbreak twist, no secret survival, no shock return — just one unlucky lookalike, one wildly confident camera guy, and the internet doing what it does best.
