Donald Trump spent hours on Truth Social Wednesday night firing off posts that blended self-congratulation, political attacks, and old election grievances — all while offering federal disaster aid to states that helped put him in office.

Starting around 4 p.m. Washington time, the 79-year-old president launched into an online marathon that stretched well past midnight. In between posts denying his 2020 loss, Trump announced he had personally approved millions in disaster aid for Missouri, Alaska, and North Dakota — all states he bragged about winning in 2016, 2020, and 2024.

“It is my honor to deliver for the great state of Alaska, which I won BIG in 2016, 2020, and 2024,” he wrote. “ALASKA, I WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”

He posted similar messages about Missouri, claiming he had won “The Show Me State” three times and that its citizens “deserved” the aid. Critics say the president continues to forget that he represents all Americans, not just those who voted for him.

Lately, the White House has also been working to cut congressional funding for cities and states led by Democrats — adding fuel to accusations that Trump’s administration is using federal dollars as political weapons.

Trump didn’t stop at bragging about red states. During his online spree, he turned his attention to rivals Kamala Harris and Barack Obama. One post included an AI-generated video attacking Harris, while another blamed Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker for a recent Chicago shooting.

He also repeated his long-debunked claim that the 2020 election was stolen, this time dragging Obama into it. “Ask former President Barack Hussein Obama whether he really believes Joe Biden got 15 million more votes than he did in 2012,” Trump wrote, adding that the election was an “illegal scam.”

Of course, there are simple explanations for Biden’s record-breaking 81 million votes. The 2020 race had the highest voter turnout in decades — nearly 67 percent of eligible voters cast ballots, compared to 62 percent in 2012. The voting-age population also grew by more than 16 million people in that period.

As for Trump’s claim that Black voters “hate” Biden, the numbers don’t back him up. Exit polls show that while Obama won 93 percent of the Black vote in 2012, Biden still carried 87 percent in 2020 — hardly a collapse in support.

Meanwhile, Trump’s health remains a topic of public curiosity. Photos have shown bruising on his hands and swelling around his ankles, and some experts have raised concerns about his increasingly erratic behavior and incoherent public statements. The White House insists he’s in “excellent health,” even claiming his “cardiac age” is 14 years younger than his actual age.

Still, judging by Wednesday night’s posting spree, sleep doesn’t appear to be part of the president’s routine.
