Khloé Kardashian has found herself at the center of a political firestorm after she appeared to honor slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Instagram. The reality star, 41, liked a post commemorating Kirk’s death and added three prayer-hand emojis under a video celebrating his Christian faith.
The tribute was originally shared by pray.com, an app that promotes daily prayer. As of Friday morning, Kardashian’s comment and “like” remain live. But screenshots quickly spread across social media, with many fans furious that she would openly support the founder of Turning Point USA — an organization that became a driving force behind Donald Trump’s rise and one of the most divisive forces in American politics.
“This is the worst thing she’s ever done in my eyes fr. Yuck!!” one person wrote on Reddit. Another posted: “And if Khloé addresses this (which she won’t), it’ll be with some flimsy ‘politics aside, he was a husband and a father’ explanation.”
While some assumed Kardashian may not even know who Kirk was, others pointed out that the star has shown awareness of conservative politics before. One fan wrote, “Not defending her, just a thought: I wonder if she actually knows who he is and what he’s said.” Another added that the Kardashians “have 0 reason to pay attention to politics.”
That argument, however, was undercut when Kardashian shared another post to her Instagram story the same day. The message came from a chiropractor known for posting anti-vaccine rhetoric and read: “A man is killed in front of a crowd. And people record it… like it’s just another trending video.”
Kirk, who was assassinated at a Turning Point USA event in Utah earlier this month, had long been one of Trump’s most visible allies. He pushed far-right talking points on immigration, gun rights, and vaccines — often sparking outrage from progressives, educators, and civil rights groups.
In the wake of his death, President Trump has praised Kirk as a “true patriot” and leaned on his legacy to galvanize conservative supporters ahead of the 2026 midterms. That political backdrop has made Kardashian’s gesture even more controversial, given her massive platform and influence on younger audiences.
Celebrity-watchers say Kardashian’s move shows how fragile the line is between faith-based sympathy and political endorsement.
“People are mourning Kirk as a father and husband, sure,” media analyst Darrell Hunt told us. “But Khloé is no ordinary fan. She’s a Kardashian with 300 million followers. By amplifying him, she’s indirectly amplifying the far-right movement he built. And that has consequences.”
For now, Kardashian hasn’t addressed the backlash. But with screenshots circulating widely, fans are demanding answers — and the silence may speak louder than any statement she could make.

Kudos to Chloe Kardashian. This so-called news site is absolutely ridiculous and it’snothing more than a cover for leftist propaganda. I see where she knows just like the rest of us said Charlie Kirk was a good young man who had staunch Judeo Christian principles. He also loved to debate the people that had different views than his. I saw many examples of his debates, and I didn’t see anything in. It would make me think of the Klu Klux Klan. It seems that if you’re a conservative, God living in patriotic American, you must be an extreme right winger. Don’t back down Kole.
