ABC’s “The View” stormed back onto daytime television Monday for its 29th season — and the co-hosts wasted no time delivering a fiery message straight to President Trump and his supporters: they’re not going anywhere.

“Thank you from all of us at this table,” Whoopi Goldberg told a roaring audience as the women returned to the studio after their annual summer hiatus. “We are starting our new season because we are very much here — and live,” she declared, pausing just long enough to twist the knife. “We’re not dead yet.”

The jab came after months of speculation fueled by Trump loyalists that ABC had secretly canceled “The View.” The rumor mill started spinning in June when co-host Joy Behar announced the show’s summer break, just days after the Trump White House warned the network it could be “pulled off air” following Behar’s claim that Trump was “jealous” of Barack Obama’s enduring popularity.

For weeks, MAGA corners of social media celebrated what they assumed was “The View’s” quiet burial. But Monday’s season premiere proved otherwise.

“Imagine their faces when we popped back on the air,” Ana Navarro laughed. “Sorry to disappoint, folks — we’re here, we’re loud, and we’re caffeinated.”

The hosts quickly dove into one of the biggest political flashpoints of the summer: Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Senate hearing over his controversial handling of vaccine policy.

Behar, never one to hold back, went for the jugular: “The guy eats roadkill out of his freezer, and I have to listen to him tell me about vaccines?” she said, drawing howls from the audience.

Sunny Hostin turned emotional, revealing that her husband’s parents both died of COVID. “The notion that people can’t access vaccines — I know that will lead to death. I know it. And this misinformation he’s spreading? It’s a disservice to everyone: children, seniors, the vulnerable,” she said, her voice cracking.

Navarro piled on, blasting Kennedy’s decision to sideline CDC experts and replace them with his own appointees. “Americans should listen to their doctors, not a guy who literally had a worm eating his brain,” she said, referencing Kennedy’s now-infamous medical history.

The panel also took aim at Trump for embracing RFK Jr. despite the backlash. Former Trump communications director Alyssa Farah Griffin called it “the biggest political head-scratcher of 2025.”

“Operation Warp Speed — that was Trump’s single greatest accomplishment,” Griffin said. “He helped deliver the COVID vaccine faster than anyone thought possible. And now he’s standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the guy tearing that all down? It makes no sense.”

Pressed on why Trump would back RFK Jr., Griffin offered a theory: “I think he just likes having a Kennedy in his cabinet. He wants to brag about it.”

Sara Haines couldn’t hide her disbelief. “And that’s the Kennedy he wants?” she asked, shaking her head.

Behind the scenes, ABC has reportedly urged the hosts to “tone down” their anti-Trump rhetoric to avoid further clashes with the White House. But if Monday’s premiere was any indication, the women aren’t backing off.

“We’re not here to make anyone comfortable,” Navarro said. “We’re here to speak the truth, whether Trump likes it or not.”

Even former co-host Rosie O’Donnell has weighed in, posting a TikTok warning fans that she’s “heard rumblings” ABC might eventually try to kill the show. “That’s code for, ‘We’re gonna cancel it, but we’re softening you up first,’” O’Donnell said.

For now, though, the ladies of “The View” are very much alive — and they’re ready for battle.
