Fresh controversy is swirling around Melania Trump’s long-disputed ties to Jeffrey Epstein, reigniting questions about how she really met Donald Trump—and whether her version of the story adds up.

In her 2024 memoir, the former first lady gushed about meeting Trump at Manhattan’s trendy Kit Kat Club during Fashion Week in 1998. But according to bombshell claims from Fire and Fury author Michael Wolff, Melania’s connection to the disgraced financier may run deeper than she lets on.

“She was very involved in this Epstein relationship,” Wolff alleged. “She was introduced to Trump by a model agent, someone both Trump and Epstein were connected to. Epstein said he knew her well.”

Even more explosive, Wolff says Epstein personally told him the first time Trump and Melania had sex was aboard his private jet—a far cry from the romantic version told in Melania’s memoir.

Melania, now 55, painted a glamorous picture of her first encounter with Trump, recalling his “magnetic energy” and claiming she was instantly “captivated by his charm.” She described how he approached her while already accompanied by another woman, struck up a conversation, and made her feel like “the center of his world.”

Their whirlwind romance led to an engagement in 2004 and a lavish 2005 wedding at Mar-a-Lago attended by A-list guests like the Clintons, Barbara Walters, Billy Joel, and Shaquille O’Neal.

But Wolff isn’t buying it.

In a recent Instagram video, he labeled their relationship a “sham marriage” and claimed Melania’s near-constant absence from Trump’s side—through his 2024 campaign and even his hush money trial—speaks volumes. “This is hardly any marriage at all,” he said. “And it’s being undermined now by the Epstein story, in which Melania plays no small part.”

Wolff claims Melania came into Trump’s orbit through the same shadowy modeling network Epstein and Trump allegedly used to recruit women. He even accused Trump of using Epstein as a “wingman” after he married Melania, continuing to cheat on her with Epstein’s help.

“Melania met Trump through the same ‘modeling circles’ Epstein used. And after they got married, Trump kept cheating—with Epstein facilitating it,” Wolff said. “These two were the greatest moral grifters of our time.”

Though Epstein is long dead, his name—and Trump’s connection to him—won’t go away. Trump has faced renewed scrutiny over Epstein ties, especially after a Wall Street Journal article revealed his name popped up “multiple times” in Justice Department files.

Trump has denied any wrongdoing and filed a lawsuit over claims he contributed a bawdy note to Epstein’s 50th birthday book in 2003. The president insisted he had no knowledge of the letter.

The DOJ has stated that the Epstein files contained unverified information about many high-profile individuals, not just Trump. Still, the court of public opinion remains divided, especially as Epstein’s ghost continues to haunt the elite.

With Epstein’s name continuing to make headlines and Trump now back in the White House, questions about Melania’s past associations are more relevant—and more mysterious—than ever. Whether the former first lady’s memoir is a heartfelt memory or a carefully curated PR version, critics are wondering: What does Melania really know?
