Linda Hogan is mourning the sudden death of her ex-husband, wrestling legend Hulk Hogan — and she’s not holding back her grief.
In a heartbreaking Instagram comment, the 65-year-old reality star admitted she’s “melting down” over Hulk’s passing, revealing the pain she’s carried since their divorce never truly left her.
“I had no idea he would pass away this soon. We all really thought he would make a comeback!” she wrote under a nostalgic post about their life together. “I still love him. I’ve known him since I was 22, he was 28. We spent every minute together for so many years.”
Linda and Hulk, whose real name was Terry Bollea, were married for 26 years and shared two children — daughter Brooke, 37, and son Nick, 35. Though their relationship ended in 2009 amid tabloid headlines and public infidelity, Linda now says she never moved on.
“I loved Hulkster more than he loved me,” she confessed. “It hurt when he cheated… but he was sooo famous. I sort of understood, but it was crushing. I never got over him or started a real relationship with anyone. I missed HIM.”
In a poignant reflection, Linda added, “Even though I never saw or spoke to him in recent years, Nick did. We still felt like a family — broken, but still a family. I’m trying to stay strong for Nick… but I’m melting down now. It’s very sad. I love you, Hulkster. You were my man. The only man for me. RIP.”
Hulk Hogan died last Thursday at his home in Clearwater, Florida, after going into cardiac arrest. He was 71.
His team released a statement confirming the wrestling icon’s death: “Unfortunately, we must confirm that Terry Bollea, aka Hulk Hogan, passed away this morning. We are heartbroken. He was such a great human being and friend.”
Sources close to the family told the Daily Mail that Hulk had long struggled with a weakened heart. He’d reportedly been losing weight, experiencing shortness of breath, and required oxygen in recent months. Aware that his health was failing, he began making efforts to heal strained relationships — especially with his daughter, Brooke.
“He had a lot of scores to settle,” one insider shared. “There was a little strain with his daughter and their relationship that had taken quite the emotional toll, but he always thought he would eventually be able to fix that.”
Hulk is survived by his wife, Sky Daily, and his two children. His legacy as one of the most iconic figures in professional wrestling remains unmatched — and for Linda Hogan, the heartbreak is still raw.
“He was the love of my life,” she said. “And now he’s gone.”
