Jeffrey Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender, reportedly spent the final years of his life gripped by one man—Donald J. Trump.
According to bombshell new claims from journalist and author Michael Wolff, Epstein feared the now-president so intensely that he became “utterly preoccupied” with him during Trump’s first term in office. Wolff, who famously wrote Fire and Fury, based much of his early reporting on private conversations with Epstein—conversations that paint a chilling picture of a man haunted by his past ties to power.
A Friendship Built on Ego, Money, and Women
Long before Trump was president, he and Epstein were inseparable. Both self-styled playboys in the Manhattan social circuit of the 1980s and 1990s, they flaunted wealth and women with equal arrogance.
“It was this sort of toxic masculinity cocktail,” Wolff said on a recent episode of his podcast. “They were both proud of their excess, of their cruelty. And they bonded over that.”
At one point, Wolff claims, Epstein and Trump even shared a girlfriend.
“They were openly dating the same woman—at the same time—and didn’t seem to mind,” he said. “It was a form of competition between them. Everything was.”
But it wasn’t all champagne and high-rise penthouses. Their friendship, according to Wolff, began to fracture in 2004 when Trump allegedly blindsided Epstein by outbidding him for the prestigious Maison de L’Amitié estate near Mar-a-Lago.
“Epstein was livid,” Wolff said. “He felt betrayed. That was the beginning of the end.”
A Dangerous Presidency
By the time Trump took office in 2017, Epstein’s fear had curdled into paranoia.
“When I met with Epstein during those years, it was like watching a man look over his shoulder at all times,” Wolff recalled. “He was afraid of what Trump might do—not politically, but personally.”
According to Wolff, Epstein believed Trump had “no scruples” and was “capable of anything.” He wasn’t alone in that fear.
“Other people close to Epstein told me the same thing,” Wolff continued. “They said he’d go quiet when Trump’s name came up. Like he knew something the rest of us didn’t.”
In their last meetings, Wolff urged Epstein to go public—to reveal what he knew about Trump. Epstein refused.
“He told me I didn’t understand how the real world works,” Wolff said. “Then he died.”
Epstein’s Death—and the Silence That Followed
Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in a Manhattan jail cell on August 10, 2019. Officially, it was ruled a suicide—an explanation that has never sat right with millions of Americans, especially given the circumstances.
At the time, Trump’s Justice Department declared there were no Epstein “files.” President Trump publicly mocked journalists demanding answers, even accusing former Presidents Obama and Biden of fabricating stories to “distract from their own failures.”
In a furious 2020 campaign rally, Trump dismissed calls for transparency, claiming, “Let these weaklings keep doing the Democrats’ work. Don’t even talk about Epstein. I’m not interested in their fake outrage.”
But Wolff says the outrage was real—and still is.
“Jeffrey Epstein died with secrets,” Wolff said. “And Donald Trump is at the center of them.”
A Legacy of Fear and Power
Though many in Trump’s circle have dismissed the Epstein connection as ancient history, questions continue to swirl—especially as President Trump launches his re-election campaign for 2028.
With new investigations into Epstein’s network still emerging, critics are again demanding accountability.
“The American people deserve answers,” said Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-CA), a longtime advocate for trafficking victims. “And if those answers lead to the Oval Office, so be it.”
For now, Trump remains silent. But for a man once described by Epstein as “the most dangerous person I’ve ever known,” the ghosts of the past may not stay buried much longer.

Probably more
More nonsense from sicko Trump hater Wolff. We all know Trump prefers to be married to one good woman at a time and spent his life married to three women, one at a time. With brief interludes in between them as he searched for another compatible wife. Has been with Melania for 20+ years.
Epstein didn’t like marriage-minded Trump’s ways and Trump didn’t like never married Epstein’s ways.
Why would President Trump bother running in 2016 if he was part of Epstein list. President Trump would never have run if so. President Trump knew about swamp and what they would do with that kind of fact’s. Not only that democrats would have done brought that out before now. Honestly I think democrats rigged 2020 so they could doctor up documents and photos to set President Trump up even on Epstein photos. They stole four years to play tricks with everything about President Trump to stop him once and for all. Maybe that’s why Epstein stuff not out yet they put President Trump in and removed others. Wouldn’t put it past them. That’s why after all these years democrats are so eager to expose the files now. There are people who know the truth about what is going on with framing President Trump once again and they need to step forward fast. These people on the list would do anything to keep their dirty little secrets. Framing President Trump and getting them off all of Epstein info is something they think while sink President Trump. No one like President Trump would get in politics if this was actually true about Epstein and list. President Trump is not stupid. I still am curious about all this especially democrats all of sudden what list out. They had four years to play with it. I don’t trust a thing that comes out from the past 20 years from the swamp corruption. We just need truth no lies, no doctoring and no false accusations. Truth.
I don’t care! All I know is we have a Great President, that is doing a very great job for us Americans.
No scruples, dangerous that’s
Hilariously funny. Coming from a sick man. His fear of Trump was being brought out in the open.
