Meghan Markle Shocks Flight Attendant With Handwritten Note

Meghan Markle just turned a routine flight into a royal moment.

An American Airlines flight attendant, Nina Vida, is going viral on TikTok after revealing that the Duchess of Sussex was onboard one of her flights—and left a surprisingly personal note in return for a kind gesture from the crew.

According to Vida, she and her fellow attendants decided to pass Meghan a friendly note, thanking her for flying with them. To their shock, Meghan didn’t just smile and wave—she responded with a handwritten message of her own, scribbled on a napkin in her signature elegant cursive.

“Dear AA girlies, thank you for the love, hospitality and handwritten note—you know me well,” Meghan wrote. “All love right back to you. As ever, Meghan.”

In the video, Vida holds up the napkin and gushes over Meghan’s penmanship: “This handwriting is giving rich, it’s giving expensive, it’s giving princess.” She also added that Meghan was “so sweet” and “so beautiful in person”—and even complimented her manicure.

This isn’t the first time Meghan’s handwriting has sparked buzz. Back in March, she sent another handwritten note to podcaster Amanda Hirsch after Hirsch expressed concern about backlash over Meghan’s Netflix show, With Love, Meghan.

“Dear Amanda, I heard you were feeling scared. Don’t be! This is the fun part—let’s enjoy it,” the duchess wrote, winning over yet another fan.

Despite being spotted on a commercial flight this time, Meghan and Prince Harry have taken heat in the past for their frequent use of private jets—drawing criticism for the carbon footprint left by their travel choices, especially given their environmental advocacy. Their February private flight reportedly came with a $30,000 price tag.

Still, Meghan’s decision to fly commercial—and connect so personally with the airline staff—has fans applauding her down-to-earth charm.

No word yet from Meghan’s team on the viral moment, but if the note is any indication, she’s clearly still got the royal touch.
