In a bizarre and unsettling twist to the ongoing Jeffrey Epstein saga, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi has been caught on hidden camera sharing sensitive information about child exploitation tapes tied to Epstein—with a woman posing as a nanny at brunch.
The woman, part of a sting operation orchestrated by far-right provocateur James O’Keefe, recorded Bondi discussing the existence of “tens of thousands of videos” allegedly involving Epstein and minors. The encounter reportedly took place at a public restaurant just days before Bondi announced the same information at a press conference.
In the clip, released by the O’Keefe Media Group on Thursday, Bondi can be seen eating when the woman approaches and casually asks:
“Do you know when the Epstein files are going to get released?” Bondi responds, “We hope soon. The FBI has been on them.” When pressed for specifics, she adds: “There are tens and thousands of videos—and it’s all with little kids.”

It’s the kind of statement that would typically be delivered under oath or in front of a congressional panel—not whispered over eggs benedict to a stranger with a camera.
Who Is Pam Bondi, and Why Is She Talking?
Bondi, a longtime Republican operative and former Trump impeachment defense attorney, was tapped in 2024 to lead Florida’s special investigation into the Epstein case. Since then, she’s been hyping the release of “explosive” new evidence. But her credibility has taken multiple hits.
In March, Bondi faced backlash from her own base when her much-anticipated “Epstein files” turned out to be a binder of heavily redacted documents already available online. She blamed the FBI for stonewalling, but MAGA influencers weren’t buying it.
Now, after being recorded apparently giving away details that hadn’t yet been made public, questions are mounting—not just about what Bondi knows, but why she was so willing to talk about it to someone she didn’t know.
“This wasn’t a whistleblower making a calculated decision,” said a former DOJ official who spoke to us anonymously. “It was careless and dangerous.”
The O’Keefe Factor
James O’Keefe, best known for deceptive “gotcha” videos during his time at Project Veritas, has a long history of legal troubles—including a 2023 lawsuit over financial misconduct and staff abuse. After being ousted from his own organization, O’Keefe launched the new outlet that secretly filmed Bondi.
He also released another video this week, secretly recording Prince Andrew’s former friend and financial advisor, John Bryan. In that video, Bryan claimed Epstein and the disgraced royal were “f—ing underage girls,” a statement that has not been independently verified but drew immediate outrage online.
O’Keefe said he only published the Bondi footage after reaching out to her on May 1 for comment and receiving no response. Curiously, Bondi held a press conference on May 8—nine days after the filming—echoing almost word-for-word the comments she made at brunch.
“There are tens of thousands of videos of Epstein with children or child porn,” she said, repeating the figure. “It’s just the volume—that’s what they’re going through right now.”
But she offered no timeline for when the public might see any of the alleged material.
A Pattern of Distraction
Democratic lawmakers have grown increasingly frustrated with what they view as political theater around the Epstein investigation.
“If Pam Bondi has legitimate evidence of child exploitation, then the Justice Department—not James O’Keefe—should be handling it,” said Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA). “And if she’s just recycling old conspiracy bait to rile up MAGA Twitter, then she’s playing a dangerous game.”
The Epstein case has become a fixation for far-right media personalities, many of whom accuse federal agencies of covering up the financier’s alleged ties to powerful elites. While much of the Epstein evidence has been tightly sealed under court orders, some information—including his infamous flight logs—has trickled out over the years.
Despite past social ties between Epstein and Donald Trump, MAGA influencers continue to claim the president is the one pushing for truth and transparency. During his recent confirmation hearing, newly appointed FBI Director Kash Patel even pledged to declassify Epstein-related materials.
But when asked point blank on Wednesday whether Epstein died by suicide or foul play, Patel didn’t entertain conspiracy theories. “I believe he hung himself in a cell,” he told lawmakers.
What’s Next?
The Department of Justice has yet to comment on the Bondi video or the alleged existence of the tapes. Legal analysts say Bondi could face scrutiny for disclosing classified information—especially if the videos she referenced are part of ongoing investigations.
Meanwhile, critics warn that O’Keefe’s selective editing and history of manipulation muddy the waters, even when his footage catches someone red-handed.
“It’s like a circus where the ringleaders are trying to set fire to their own tent,” said one media ethics professor. “No one’s helping the victims of Epstein—certainly not by leaking details to a fake nanny over brunch.”
As Epstein’s shadow looms over yet another public official, the real question remains: Will we ever see justice, or just more political theater?
