According to a lawsuit filed last week in Clark County District Court, Truschke was violently hurled forward by a speeding revolving door that allegedly malfunctioned without warning. Her family claims the hotel’s management knew the door was faulty—but failed to repair it or shut it down.

“She was tossed like a rag doll,” said a family friend, speaking under condition of anonymity. “Her injuries were catastrophic, and she never recovered.”
