Podcast giant Joe Rogan has accused President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of pushing the world closer to catastrophe, suggesting their recent decisions could ignite a global conflict. Rogan’s comments follow Biden’s controversial move to allow Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied long-range missiles against Russia, a significant policy reversal that has sparked heated debate.
The decision comes amidst rising tensions in Eastern Europe. Russian forces have reportedly deployed North Korean troops to the heavily contested Kursk region, which U.S. officials called a provocative escalation. In response, Ukraine launched a series of missile strikes deep into Russian territory, signaling a dramatic shift in the conflict’s trajectory.
On a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the host didn’t hold back. “How are you allowed to do that when you’re on your way out?” Rogan questioned, referencing Biden’s final weeks in office. “There should be a pause on significant actions that could potentially start World War III. Maybe we should avoid that from a ‘dying’ president.”
Rogan also took aim at Zelensky, criticizing his rhetoric as inflammatory. “Zelensky says Putin is terrified? F–k you, man. F–k you people. You’re about to start World War III,” Rogan said, adding, “The world has seen peace before, and chaos can erupt overnight.”
Rogan’s guest, music producer Scott Storch, echoed the sentiment. Both agreed they’d feel “safer” under an administration led by Donald Trump, who has previously expressed skepticism about U.S. involvement in Ukraine’s war effort.
The podcast, known for its freewheeling discussions and controversial takes, comes as public opinion in the U.S. remains divided. Recent polls show growing fatigue with the ongoing financial and military support for Ukraine, despite bipartisan consensus on countering Russian aggression.
The conflict in Ukraine, now nearly two years old, has seen escalating stakes with global ramifications. Experts warn that Biden’s policy shift could provoke further retaliation from Moscow, while some argue the decision was necessary to deter growing alliances between Russia, North Korea, and other adversarial states.
Rogan summed up his fears bluntly: “It’s happening right now. We don’t feel it here, so we don’t think about it. But it’s a powder keg, and we’re lighting the fuse without even realizing it.”
While critics dismiss Rogan’s remarks as alarmist, his comments reflect a broader unease about the fragile state of global peace and the unpredictable nature of high-stakes geopolitical decisions.
