3 People, Including Infant, Dead in Louisiana Helicopter Crash

A heart-wrenching tragedy unfolded in Louisiana on Friday night when a helicopter crash claimed the lives of a family of three, including a young child. At approximately 9 p.m. on November 1, a Robinson R44 helicopter went down in the town of Iowa, sending shockwaves through the close-knit community.

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office identified the victims as Jared Savant, 50, his wife Tanya, and their 2-year-old daughter, all hailing from Kinder, Louisiana. This incident has left many grappling with the profound loss. Sheriff Stitch Guillory expressed his sorrow, stating, “This was a very tragic accident, and our hearts go out to the family and loved ones affected.”

Authorities were swift to respond to the scene, with deputies initiating a preliminary investigation. Sheriff Guillory praised the local community for their prompt assistance, saying, “I would like to extend our gratitude to the community members who live in the area where the crash occurred.
