New York Governor Kathy Hochul found herself in an uncomfortable situation when she was asked to leave the wake for slain NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller on Friday, March 29. The incident, which occurred at the Massapequa Funeral Home on Long Island, added another layer of tension to an already somber event.
Hochul’s presence at the wake did not go unnoticed, with reports indicating that she arrived for the second day of viewings around 1:45 PM. However, her visit was short-lived, lasting only about 10 minutes before she was asked to leave by an unidentified individual inside the crowded funeral home.
According to law enforcement sources, a person was heard instructing Hochul to leave, with the words “Get her outta here” echoing through the venue. As Hochul made her way to her car, a confrontation ensued with a man in a black suit, who gestured and spoke intensely to her. The tense scene culminated with several police officers outside the funeral home applauding as the man walked away.
The incident occurred amidst a backdrop of growing criticism directed at Hochul and other New York lawmakers following Officer Diller’s tragic death. Concerns over bail reform have been raised, particularly after it was revealed that one of the individuals involved in the shooting had been previously released on a gun charge.
In anticipation of the weekend services, Sergeants Benevolent Association President Vincent J. Vallelong issued a strong statement directing City Council members to stay away from the funeral events. Vallelong emphasized the negative impact of their attendance, describing it as “a stain on the legacy of a true hero who made the ultimate sacrifice.”
Officer Diller, a 31-year-old LAPD officer, was shot and killed during a routine traffic stop in Far Rockaway, Queens, on Monday, March 25. Suspect Guy Rivera opened fire on Officer Diller after the cop approached the vehicle Rivera was in for parking in front of a bus stop. Despite wearing a bulletproof vest, Officer Diller was shot once in the stomach and later pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital.
The absence of President Joe Biden at the wake, coupled with former President Donald Trump’s attendance on the first day, has sparked discussions about the relationship between the current administration and law enforcement agencies.
As the mourning for Officer Diller continues, the incident involving Governor Hochul serves as a reminder of the delicate balance between political presence and respect for the fallen in times of tragedy.

The dems are building a regime of criminality to promote their communist agenda. This election we must vote out all Democrats/communists and make the public aware of their devious nature. They will use public funds to prosecute when unwarranted and force you to defend yourself with your money while true criminals are released. The solution is to promote American policies and motivate the people to vote for true conservative Americans.
