During Hurricane Idalia, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and his family had a frightening moment when a huge oak tree fell on the side of their residence in Tallahassee.

She shared a picture of the tree cut in two, with one half leaning against the side of the mansion.

Recognizing the wider effects of the disaster on the neighborhood, Mrs. DeSantis remarked, “Our prayers are with everyone impacted by the storm.”
