President Donald Trump is once again making headlines for publicly humiliating one of his wealthy friends — and this time, the awkward moment came just as cameras appeared to catch the 79-year-old president nodding off during a White House event.

Speaking Monday during an Oval Office press conference focused on maternal healthcare, Trump launched into one of his favorite off-script stories involving a “very fat” and “highly neurotic” billionaire friend who allegedly inspired him to take on the soaring cost of weight loss drugs in America.

But instead of sticking to policy, Trump quickly turned the anecdote into a bizarre roast session.

“So think of it,” Trump said while comparing the overseas price of GLP-1 medications to U.S. prices. “$87 in London, $87 in Paris, and $1,300 in New York for the exact same box.”

Then came the punchline.

“He’s a very highly neurotic, very fat — sort of a fat slob, I would call him,” Trump said, drawing laughter from Dr. Mehmet Oz, the former TV personality now serving as one of Trump’s healthcare advisers.

Trump continued piling on the unnamed friend, describing him as “rich as hell” but deeply upset over paying dramatically higher prices for the same medication in the United States.

The president claimed the businessman personally investigated the issue by having his staff trace where the medication was manufactured.

“He said, ‘This is crazy,’” Trump recalled. “It actually motivated me.”

Trump then admitted he may have “destroyed” the man’s reputation by repeatedly telling the story in public.

“He’s begging me not to release his name,” Trump said. “And I just destroyed his reputation in terms of his physicality.”

The story immediately sparked fresh online speculation about who Trump could possibly be talking about. Many social media users pointed fingers at billionaire Elon Musk, who has openly discussed using GLP-1 medications for weight loss. Others joked that Trump might actually be describing himself.

The president, whose own medical records have placed him in the overweight category based on body mass index calculations, previously admitted during an interview earlier this year that he “probably should” be taking the popular drugs himself.

The bizarre rant wasn’t the only moment raising eyebrows Monday.

At one point during the Oval Office event, cameras appeared to capture Trump briefly nodding off while other administration officials were speaking. Video clips quickly spread online, with critics mocking the president and questioning his stamina as he continues serving in the White House at age 79.

The White House has continued insisting Trump remains in excellent health. When reporters previously asked about the president’s next physical examination, spokesperson Davis Ingle brushed aside concerns.

“President Trump is the sharpest and most accessible president in American history,” Ingle said, adding that Trump is “working nonstop” and remains in “excellent health.”

Still, Monday’s strange combination of insults, rambling stories, and apparent drowsiness handed critics fresh ammunition — and gave the internet another viral Trump moment it won’t stop talking about.
