Olivia Nuzzi’s career is going up in flames — and daytime TV just poured gasoline on it.

The 32-year-old political journalist, once one of Washington’s rising stars, was ripped apart on The View this week after explosive allegations that she had affairs with two presidential candidates she was supposed to be covering.

Sunny Hostin didn’t hold back. “For me, it’s like a doctor sleeping with a patient,” she said on air. “It’s unethical. It’s beneath the professional standards.”

Joy Behar jumped in too, saying the alleged relationships “undermine her credibility” and make it impossible for readers to trust her reporting.

The attacks came just as RadarOnline revealed that Vanity Fair — where Nuzzi was recently named West Coast editor — is “reconsidering” her hire after the bombshells went public.

The firestorm started when Nuzzi’s ex-fiancé, journalist Ryan Lizza, went public with shocking claims. In a Substack post, he said he found a handwritten note “spilling out of her backpack” that “altered the course of our lives.”

Lizza said Nuzzi secretly fell for former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford while profiling him in 2020 — years before her alleged fling with Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

He claimed she lied about “visiting her sick mother” to sneak off and meet Sanford at his South Carolina home. “She told me she became infatuated,” Lizza wrote, alleging she sent “racy pictures and texts” and even stalked him on the campaign trail.

Nuzzi later wrote about her alleged affair with RFK Jr. in her new memoir — a move that sparked outrage in media circles and reignited questions about journalistic ethics.

Not everyone on The View piled on. Alyssa Farah Griffin defended Nuzzi — sort of. “I think you can come back from one mistake,” she said. “But what worries me is that there might be more than one. If it’s not true, she needs to defend herself.”

She also slammed RFK Jr. for walking away “scot-free” while Nuzzi takes the heat.

Still, with Vanity Fair reportedly debating whether to keep her on, and her personal life splashed across headlines, Nuzzi’s once-glamorous rise in Washington is turning into one of 2025’s biggest media scandals.
