Hollywood icon Angelina Jolie is preparing to pack her bags — and possibly her six kids — as she eyes a move abroad, according to multiple sources, marking yet another A-list departure from the U.S. during Donald Trump’s second presidency.
The Oscar-winning Maria star, now 50, is reportedly weighing “several locations abroad” and could relocate as early as next year, when her youngest children — twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt — turn 18 in July. “She’ll be very happy when she’s able to leave Los Angeles,” an insider told People.
Jolie has made no secret of her desire to leave the U.S. In a 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she admitted she’d been staying in Los Angeles only “because I have to from a divorce.” Her protracted split from Brad Pitt — filed in 2016 and finalized just last December — kept her tethered to California for nearly a decade.
“I grew up in this town,” she said then. “I’m here because I have to be, but as soon as they’re 18, I’ll be able to leave. When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety. This place… that humanity I’ve found across the world is not what I grew up with here.”
If Jolie goes through with her plan, she’ll join a swelling roster of stars fleeing the country during Trump’s turbulent second term — a cultural moment critics say reflects deep disillusionment among America’s creative class. Rosie O’Donnell, Ellen DeGeneres, and John Legend have already settled abroad, citing political hostility, divisive rhetoric, and what they describe as an erosion of personal freedoms.
Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel revealed just this week he’d secured Italian citizenship “to keep options open.” While Jolie’s friends insist her move is “not political,” the timing — amid Trump’s renewed attacks on Hollywood, the press, and the arts — is impossible to ignore.
The actress and humanitarian hinted at where she might land: “I’ll spend a lot of time in Cambodia. I’ll spend time visiting my family members wherever they may be in the world,” she told reporters last year. Jolie has deep ties to Cambodia, where she adopted her eldest son Maddox in 2002 and established a conservation foundation.
Sources say she’s also exploring European destinations and “quiet, nature-rich” enclaves where her children can live without paparazzi swarms.
The move appears already in motion. Page Six reported over the weekend that Jolie is prepping her storied Los Feliz estate — once owned by legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille — for sale. She bought the six-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion in 2017 for $24.5 million, and real estate experts say it could fetch well over $40 million in today’s market.
Friends say the plan boils down to a single motivation: “She wants peace,” one longtime associate told us. “The last few years have been brutal — the custody battle, the media circus, the politics in this country. She wants her kids to see the world beyond America in 2025.”
Whether Jolie’s departure becomes the most high-profile celebrity exit yet under Trump remains to be seen. But her words from last year ring louder now: “I’ve always found home in the world — and the world is calling.”

Your Dad is a true Christian and has so much common sense.,
Plus,, he is a staunch supporter

Maybe you should talk to your Dad before you leave the country and he could enlighten you about the accomplishments of President Trump in just 6
