Joe Rogan is done playing nice—and this time, he’s turning his fire on President Trump’s FBI and their Epstein whitewash.
In a blistering Friday episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the wildly popular podcaster unloaded on the Trump administration over its controversial closure of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation, calling out FBI Director Kash Patel by name and questioning whether the American public is being deliberately misled.
“Do they think we’re babies?” Rogan asked his millions of listeners. “The guy sits here on my show and tells me there’s nothing in the Epstein files. No tapes. No list. Are you f—ing kidding me?”
Rogan was referring to Patel’s June appearance on the podcast—just weeks before the Trump administration formally announced it was closing the book on Epstein. At the time, Patel downplayed the existence of any damaging material.
“I’m working my a– off to release everything we’re allowed to give you,” Patel claimed, suggesting the FBI had done its due diligence. But Rogan wasn’t convinced—and neither were many of his listeners.
On Friday, Rogan aired his frustrations. “People were like, ‘Why didn’t you push him harder?’ And honestly, I figured I’d just let the internet handle it. The guy was clearly deflecting,” he said. “And then they drop this edited video from Epstein’s cell—with a minute missing? Seriously?”
The footage, released by the DOJ earlier this month, supposedly shows Epstein’s final moments in his Manhattan jail cell. But the video cuts out just as guards claim he took his own life—a fact that has only fueled further speculation that Epstein’s death was more than just a suicide.
“Everyone knows this doesn’t add up. Everyone,” Rogan said bluntly.
The scandal has once again dragged Trump’s personal history with Epstein into the national spotlight. The two were famously close in the 1990s and early 2000s, often photographed together at Mar-a-Lago and exclusive Palm Beach parties. In 2017, Epstein reportedly referred to Trump as his “closest friend” in a private recording obtained by The Daily Beast last year.
Despite Trump’s attempts to downplay their friendship—he has since claimed he “barely knew the guy”—the resurfaced evidence paints a murkier picture. And Democrats aren’t letting it slide.
“This isn’t just about what’s in the files—it’s about who the files protect,” said Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) on social media. “The DOJ’s handling of Epstein reeks of a cover-up, and the American people deserve the truth.”
Rogan’s takedown is notable given his previous coziness with Trump. The former president appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience just days before the 2024 election, delivering a relaxed, meme-filled three-hour interview that many credit with helping boost turnout among younger male voters.
Rogan went so far as to publicly endorse Trump the day before the election.
But now, with the Epstein scandal spiraling, even one of Trump’s most powerful media allies is publicly losing patience.
“I don’t care who’s in charge—if you lie about Epstein, you’re part of the problem,” Rogan said.
As the 2026 midterms loom and calls for independent investigations grow louder, one thing is clear: the Epstein files are not going away. And for a president once hailed as a truth-teller by his base, the silence around America’s most infamous sex trafficker may be the loudest lie of all.

Bottom line if there was some evidence incriminating Trump in regards to Epstein wouldn’t the Dems have released it during the entirety of the Biden Administration? They tried everything else to ruin Trump wouldn’t this kind of evidence been enough to finish their attack on Trump??
So obviously there is nothing there to hurt Trump!!
seriously wonder if trump has ever told the truth? ‘cept maybe when he said he loves stupid, ignorant people. meant for the 3 above me here. maybe if y’all ever read the reg. news?
Too bad you couldn\’t see this when you were kissing the ring and flowering him as being the best to all the young people.
“Think” is inner dialogue. It should read “believe”.
