Chaos erupted at Jones Beach State Park on Thursday as what started as a sunny senior skip day quickly spiraled into a full-blown brawl fest — with cops forced to call in a helicopter to break things up.
Hundreds of high school seniors from across Nassau County and Queens flooded the popular Long Island beach around 3 p.m., hoping to soak up the sun and celebrate the end of the school year. But the good vibes didn’t last.
According to News 12 Long Island, fights began breaking out in several areas as tensions boiled over in the scorching heat. Videos posted to social media show wild scenes of chaos as groups of teens clashed on the sand.
