Glen Rogers, the man once called the “Casanova Killer,” was executed by lethal injection Thursday night in Florida. But before taking his final breath, the convicted serial killer made one last chilling statement — and it had nothing to do with his victims.

“President Trump, keep making America great. I’m ready to go,” Rogers, 62, declared in his final words, shocking victims’ families and stirring fresh controversy around the man whose charm once masked a trail of blood across America.

A Cold Farewell

Rogers remained eerily calm during the 16-minute procedure at Florida State Prison. As the drugs flowed into his veins, he lay motionless, mouth slightly agape. At one point, a prison staffer shook him and shouted his name to check for consciousness — there was no response.

“He never showed a shred of remorse,” said Randy Roberson, whose mother, Andy Lou Jiles Sutton, was among Rogers’ suspected victims. “That final statement was just a slap in the face to every grieving family.”

In a brief message directed to those he left behind, Rogers added: “I know there’s a lot of questions. I promise they’ll be answered soon. I hope it brings you closure.” But few saw comfort in the words of a man tied to some of the most brutal killings of the 1990s.

A Killer’s Trail Across the U.S.

Rogers was convicted of murdering Tina Marie Cribbs in Tampa in 1995. He met the 34-year-old mother of two at a bar, lured her to a motel room, and stabbed her to death before fleeing in her car. Just weeks earlier, in California, he strangled another woman — Sandra Gallagher, a mother of three — and left her body burning in her car.

He was finally captured in Kentucky after a multi-state manhunt and a high-speed chase. At the time of his arrest, Rogers claimed he had killed 70 people. He later recanted, but law enforcement officials believe the real number could still be higher than the five murders they officially tied to him.

His alleged victims shared haunting similarities: single mothers, often with red hair, in their 30s. “He preyed on vulnerability,” said one retired investigator from the original case. “He used charm as a weapon.”

No Redemption, No Regret

In his final hours, Rogers’ only visitors were his wife and his brother, Claude, who said an emotional goodbye. “He’s my brother and I love him,” Claude told the Tampa Bay Times. “I asked God to guide him on this next journey.”

But for the families of his victims, the execution was decades overdue.

“For 28 years, we’ve been waiting,” said Roberson in a statement through the Florida Department of Corrections. “Now maybe, just maybe, we can close this chapter. My mother deserved justice — they all did.”

A Political Twist

The fact that Rogers used his last words to praise President Donald Trump is now igniting debate online. “It’s disturbing,” said activist Rachel Dennis, who has worked with families of victims. “This isn’t about politics. It’s about lives lost. And this man turned his last moment into a bizarre political message.”

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who signed the death warrant last month, has not yet commented on Rogers’ political outburst, but his office confirmed the state remains committed to “delivering justice for the most heinous crimes.”

What’s Next

Rogers was the fifth inmate executed in Florida this year — a sharp uptick compared to recent years. The next execution is scheduled for June 10, when convicted killer Anthony Wainwright is set to die.

As for the families, the wounds will never fully close — but for now, they say they’ve received the one thing they’ve been denied for nearly three decades: finality.

“Justice has been done,” said Roberson. “But nothing will ever bring my mom back.”

  1. Rogers knew drug abuse was the cause of his evil acts and hoped Trump would rid the USA of illegal drugs, that the Democrats’ stoners / politicians love and protect, in order that drug abuse wouldn’t ruin any more lives like his and his/their victims… being sober in prison gave him clearer thinking… he realized the Democrat stoners like him were murdering 75 people daily, 300 O.D. Deaths daily, 1,000+ beatings, knifings, shootings daily, tens of millions of other daily crimes!

  2. Don’t know what this monster’s last moments and mentioning Trump
right before his execution has to do with anything. Trump had nothing to do with this guy or his crimes. But lefties with their “hair on fire”!🔥 will use it in ways that they “hope” Will put Trump in a bad light. As if he influenced this weirdos crimes! Nope ! Don’t fall for it lefties. This moron was killing people for decades before Trump ever became president. When some of you used to like him until he became president. So let this nonsense go.!

  3. looked into this freak a little bit. his victims had an uncanny resemblance to melania. creepy. but about par, that this is the kind of nut trump inspires. just like the guys who tried to assassinate him. they were registered repugs. WTF? they just love to hate. even the guy they voted for!
