Harp, a former One America News Network anchor, joined Trump’s campaign in 2022 and quickly became a fixture in his inner circle. According to an excerpt published by Vanity Fair, Harp’s near-constant presence and adoration of Trump unsettled those around him. Her behavior—penning gushing letters, shadowing him with a portable printer to deliver instant printouts, and resisting efforts to distance her from Trump—prompted security concerns.

Aide’s Intense Devotion Raises Eyebrows

Colleagues reportedly referred to Harp as the “human printer” due to her insistence on providing Trump with physical copies of documents to spare him from looking at screens. However, it was her written declarations of loyalty—statements such as “You are all that matters to me” and “I don’t ever want to let you down”—that left insiders uneasy.

“The Secret Service, with her letters in their possession, was now noting the strangeness of her behavior,” Wolff writes. Despite these concerns, Trump allegedly dismissed them outright. “Nonsense,” he reportedly said. “She just loves her president.”

When the former president moved to his Bedminster, New Jersey, estate for the summer of 2023, staff intentionally did not arrange housing for Harp. However, she reportedly found her way onto the property anyway—securing a maid’s quarters at the Trump-owned country club and, later, moving even closer by setting up camp in the women’s locker room.

“She was always where Trump was,” Wolff writes. “And when she wasn’t, she found a way to be.”

Despite staffers’ unease, Harp’s persistence seemed to pay off. She reportedly took on an increasingly central role, acting as a liaison between Trump and lawmakers and managing his social media presence. Wolff describes her as the “keeper of the ‘Truth’ phone,” responsible for crafting posts on Trump’s social media platform, Truth Social.

By November, as speculation swirled around Harp’s influence, senior Trump campaign staff issued a blanket dismissal of Wolff’s reporting. “We refuse to respond to Wolff’s inquiries,” their statement read, urging the public to “completely disregard whatever nonsense he eventually publishes.”
