Lara Trump was recently spotted adjusting her husband Eric Trump’s pose during a family photo at her father-in-law Donald Trump’s inauguration, and it didn’t take long for the internet to react. As the Trump family gathered for a photo op before the swearing-in ceremony, Eric was seen standing in front of Lara with his arms positioned awkwardly.

In the video, Lara can be seen whispering something to Eric, prompting him to quickly adjust his hand position. While this seemingly innocent moment might have gone unnoticed by most, it sparked a wave of conspiracy theories online.

Some users speculated that Eric’s original hand gesture was some sort of “Illuminati” signal. “God, we are never going to be free of the Illuminati,” one person posted on X (formerly Twitter) as the clip of Eric and Lara circulated. Another commenter pointed out, “Really, it was so apparent his wife told him to stop,” referring to Lara’s whispered remark.

Others quickly jumped on the theory, with one person claiming, “This hand gesture is definitely intentional.” Another user wrote, “Lara tapping his arm and glancing down at his display and telling him to stop it. None of this is accidental. They’re all in on it.”

However, not everyone was convinced. Some came to Eric’s defense, noting that they too unconsciously adopt similar hand positions. “I had no idea I joined myself since I do the same,” one person admitted.
