The only thing hotter than the 2024 presidential race is the desert in June.

Attendees waiting in line for former President Donald Trump’s Thursday town hall hosted by Turning Point Action were facing 102-degree heat and rising — with some collapsing and rushed to hospital.

The day’s high temperature is expected to be 110 degrees.

A handful of attendees collapsed outside the venue and were wheeled off by first responders, ABC 15 Arizona reported.

Eleven have been hospitalized so far, according to 12News.

The National Weather Service issued an excessive heat warning until Friday night for the Phoenix metropolitan area.

“Overexposure can cause heat cramps and heat exhaustion to develop and, without intervention, can lead to heat stroke,” the warning states.

Doors opened for the event at 10 a.m., but some attendees started waiting in line earlier in hopes of getting a good seat to see the former president.

The rally is in north Phoenix’s large indoor Dream City Church.

Maricopa County had 645 heat-related deaths in 2023, per the county.

The event is projected to bring in more than 3,000 people, as it is Trump’s comeback stop after being convicted in the Stormy Daniels hush-money trial in Manhattan last week.
