Famous for his parts in popular films like “The Matrix” and “John Wick,” Keanu Reeves was the victim of a security breach when masked intruders broke into his house in the Hollywood Hills. The actor’s home was the target of a bold break-in that happened late at night that left a gun missing.

Details of the incident: On Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to an initial anonymous contact regarding a possible trespasser. Officers returned hours later when an alarm went off at one in the morning on Thursday, even though they had not found anyone during the first search. Several males wearing ski masks were caught on security cameras breaking into Reeves’s property, which is estimated to be worth $7 million.

Stolen weapon: Reeves’ property was the source of the suspects’ successful escape with a single weapon. The actor remained safe during the terrifying occurrence because he was not present when the break-in occurred.

Security measures: Video footage from the area, including that from neighbors’ security cameras, is being carefully examined by detectives. In particular, they are looking into the likelihood that the initial contact, sent on Wednesday evening, was a reconnaissance mission to inspect the house.

Previous Incidents: Keanu Reeves has experienced security lapses before. In 2014, there were two separate break-ins where someone broke into his home and trespassed onto his property. Both ladies were placed under detention and had psychological examinations as a result of the incidents.

Law enforcement is currently looking into the recent burglary, and detectives are working hard to compile information from a variety of sources, such as witness statements and security footage.

Past Security Difficulties for Reeves: Earlier this year, Reeves and his partner Alexandra Grant were able to obtain a temporary restraining order against a person posing as the actor’s relative. Bryan Keith Dixon was accused of often entering Reeves’ property without permission and acting strangely.
