Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Ca.) found a way to quietly school his Republican counterparts who are targeting the rights of LGBTQ Americans ― with a little help from Jesus Christ.
The Democratic congressman was speaking on the House floor when he noted “the historic wave of bills targeting LGBTQ teens, children and their families” and decided to add to the dialogue.
“I just thought I would now recite what Jesus Christ said about homosexuality,” he told his fellow House members.
Typically a story like this would include a transcript of the comments, but, in this case, it’s really better to hear it directly from Lieu himself.

obviously Lieu does not know his Bible, love how they twist it to mean what they want it too_the Bible verse Leviticus 20:13 ” If a man has intercourse with a man as with a woman, both commit an abomination. They must be put to death.” Leviticus 18:22 ” you shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.” I Corinthians 6:9-11 “Do not be deceived. Niether fornicators, nor Idolaters, nor Adulterers, NOR HOMOSEXUALS, nor sodomites, nor theives, not covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, not extortioners will inherit the kingdom of GOD, and such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but your were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the spirit of our GOD.”
People leave out the part that GOD calls homosexuality an abominatio/sin- you can be forgiven but once forgiven you do not chose to continue in those sinful ways, but people believe they can do whatever they want because GOD Is LOVE; yes GOD is Love but he also is the ultimate JUDGE and knows your heart-the only way to heaven is not just GODS LOVE for us, but through him! One must be saved from the wicked ways! Lieu better think about/read what GOD actually says about homosexuality!
Although our Lord may not have mentioned homosexuality, he had much to say about sin and the Holy Scriptures condone this type of lifestyle which is considered to be an abomination. Nevertheless, these people are no greater sinners than the rest of us for we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23). Moreover, God’s Word also says, “the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.” When we repent of our sins and put our trust in the finished work of Calvary, God forgives us and He empowers us to live a new life, afar better life, in Christ Jesus.”Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.” From the Word of God.
