Disgraced former Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor may have found an unexpected new romance after losing his royal titles, leaving his longtime home and becoming embroiled in a criminal investigation linked to Jeffrey Epstein.

The 66-year-old brother of King Charles III reportedly has a new girlfriend in Norfolk, England, where he has been living a dramatically different life since being forced out of his longtime royal residence.

But according to royal insiders, the most surprising part of the alleged relationship is how it began.

Rather than meeting through a traditional introduction, the mystery woman reportedly took matters into her own hands and contacted Andrew directly.

Royal commentator Tom Sykes shared the unusual story during the October 13 episode of The Royalist podcast, explaining that the woman allegedly called Andrew unexpectedly and suggested they spend time together.

“You’re on your own, and so am I. How about we hang out together?” she reportedly told him, according to an unnamed source cited by Sykes.

The former prince apparently welcomed the invitation.

Sykes suggested that the woman already had Andrew’s contact information because they moved within similar social circles, including Norfolk’s wealthy hunting community.

The woman’s identity has not been publicly revealed, and neither Andrew nor his representatives have confirmed the reported romance.

The claims first emerged in September when former Page Six journalist Paula Froelich reported on her Substack that Andrew had found a new companion.

The revelation surprised some royal watchers, given the extraordinary scandals that have surrounded the former Duke of York.

During the latest podcast, Froelich openly questioned why someone would pursue a relationship with Andrew considering the controversy surrounding his past.

She joked about his appearance and reputation, expressing disbelief that a woman would voluntarily seek him out.

But the reported romance comes at a particularly unusual moment in Andrew’s life.

For decades, he enjoyed the privileges associated with being Queen Elizabeth II’s second son, living in luxurious royal properties and representing the monarchy at official engagements.

That world changed dramatically following revelations about his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew withdrew from public duties in 2019 after a widely criticized BBC interview in which he attempted to explain his association with Epstein.

He has consistently denied allegations of sexual misconduct involving Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of sexually abusing her when she was a teenager.

The two reached an out-of-court settlement in 2022 without Andrew admitting liability.

The controversy continued, and in October 2025, King Charles formally removed Andrew’s remaining royal titles and honors.

Andrew was also ordered to surrender his lease on Royal Lodge, the sprawling Windsor estate where he had lived for more than two decades.

He subsequently relocated to Norfolk, eventually moving into the renovated Marsh Farm property on the king’s privately owned Sandringham Estate in April 2026.

The five-bedroom farmhouse is considerably more modest than Royal Lodge, although it remains part of one of Britain’s most famous royal estates.

Andrew’s troubles deepened in February when police arrested him on suspicion of misconduct in public office.

The investigation concerns allegations that he improperly shared confidential information with Epstein while serving as Britain’s special representative for international trade.

Andrew was released after questioning and has not been charged. He denies wrongdoing.

In another development, a British court ruled in October that police had unlawfully obtained search warrants used during the investigation.

However, the ruling did not end the criminal investigation, which remains ongoing.

The controversy has continued to affect Andrew’s relationship with the royal family, whose senior members have sought to distance the monarchy from the scandal.

Meanwhile, questions remain about his relationship with his former wife, Sarah Ferguson.

Andrew and Ferguson divorced in 1996 but maintained an unusually close relationship for decades, even sharing Royal Lodge after their marriage ended.

Their continuing friendship frequently sparked speculation that they might eventually reunite romantically, although neither announced plans to remarry.

The latest reports suggest Andrew may now be pursuing a relationship with someone outside his immediate family circle.

However, there has been no independent confirmation that the mystery woman is his girlfriend, how long they have been seeing each other or whether the connection is serious.

The story currently rests on anonymous-source claims shared by royal commentators.

Still, the possibility of a new romance adds another unexpected chapter to Andrew’s increasingly complicated life.

Once one of the British monarchy’s most recognizable figures, the former prince now lives largely outside public royal life, with his reputation overshadowed by legal questions and years of damaging revelations.

Whether the mysterious woman becomes a lasting part of that new life remains to be seen.

For now, royal watchers are left with an unusual story: A former prince facing extraordinary public scrutiny may have found companionship after a woman allegedly decided that the simplest way to begin a romance was to pick up the phone and call him.
