‘The View’ Star Makes Brutal Dig at Trump’s IQ (Video)

Joy Behar turned a discussion about artificial intelligence into a sharp attack on President Donald Trump’s intelligence — delivering a pointed one-liner as her cohosts called for stronger safeguards around the technology.

During the September 24 episode of The View, Sara Haines argued that the risks posed by AI deserved the same seriousness as nuclear materials.

“We need to make sure that humans will always stay in control,” Haines said. “We don’t need to be risking complete annihilation to put some basic safeguards in place.”

Behar jumped in with a jab aimed squarely at the president.

On September 23, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman addressed the United Nations Security Council about AI’s potential benefits and dangers.

“If managed poorly, I even believe AI could be a risk to humanity as a whole,” Amodei warned. His statement described a possible outcome, not a prediction that catastrophe is inevitable. (Reuters)

Guest cohost Lisa Ling questioned why the president would brush aside warnings from industry leaders themselves. Sunny Hostin also criticized Trump’s response, accusing him of prioritizing money over the public’s welfare. The administration’s position is that new international regulation is the wrong answer. At the Security Council, White House science and technology adviser Michael Kratsios argued for sharing best practices and strengthening countries’ own capabilities instead of creating a global regulatory system.
