Donald Trump is lashing out again — and this time, even Fox News is not safe.

The president went off on Fox News anchor Shannon Bream after she reported that ICE arrest numbers under former President Barack Obama were “comparable” to those under Trump, a comparison that appeared to hit a nerve.

Trump, 80, erupted on Truth Social on Friday, June 26, bragging about his administration’s immigration enforcement numbers before turning his anger toward Bream in a fiery post that quickly drew attention for both its tone and an embarrassing typo.

“It was just announced that, and I’m not necessarily thrilled to be talking about it because it does not exactly sound NICE, the Trump Administration has the Highest Average Daily Arrest Rate by ICE and CBP, including Total Detention, with Final Orders of Removal, than any other president, by far!” Trump wrote.

But he did not stop there.

After boasting about his record, Trump took direct aim at Bream and others who dared to suggest Obama’s numbers were anywhere close to his own.

“So, when you hear these Anchors, Pundits, Dumocrats, and Communists, try to make the case that President Obama’s numbers are comparable to President Trump, it would be nice if people like ‘Milk Toast’ Shannon Bream, and others, would put up a little fight – Just a little. Thank you for your attention to this matter!” he fumed.

The insult appeared to be a botched version of “milquetoast,” a word used to describe someone timid or weak. Critics pounced almost instantly, mocking Trump for misspelling the very insult he was trying to use against a Fox News anchor.

“I guarantee that every other world leader can spell milquetoast, even the ones whose first language isn’t English,” one critic wrote. “Trump is a worldwide laughingstock.”

Another person added, “The guy that tells us every day that he didn’t know that dumb ended with a ‘b,’ also doesn’t know how to properly spell his puerile insult.”

A third blasted, “The president of the United States can’t spell milquetoast. What an ignoramus.”

Others said the outburst revealed something deeper than a simple spelling mistake — Trump’s long-running irritation whenever Obama’s name enters the conversation.

“Trump is a deeply ignorant person who has raging fits of Obama jealousy,” one user wrote.

The Truth Social rant marked yet another moment where Trump publicly attacked a female journalist, even one working for a network that has long been considered friendly territory for him. Bream, a prominent Fox News anchor, appeared to become the latest target after reporting numbers Trump apparently believed should have been framed more favorably.

Trump’s fury over the Obama comparison comes as his obsession with the former president has once again been under the spotlight.

Although Obama left office nearly a decade ago, Trump has repeatedly invoked him in speeches, posts and attacks. He has even shared inflammatory content targeting Obama, including a fake video showing the former president being arrested and another offensive clip depicting Barack and Michelle Obama as apes.

Obama recently joked about Trump’s fixation during an appearance on Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson’s All the Smoke podcast on June 24.

“I obviously have room in his head… a suite in his head,” Obama said.

The former president said he had little time to obsess over predecessors while he was in office because the job required actual focus.

“When I was president, the last thing I had time to do was worry about what somebody said or what my predecessor did,” Obama said. “They’re gone. I’ve got work to do.”

Obama also suggested Trump’s toughest talk often happens from behind a screen.

“So if this whoever you were talking about was in front of me, which has happened a couple times, he doesn’t talk like that cause he knows better,” Obama said.

He added that phones and social media have created a world where people say “crazy stuff” they would never say face-to-face.

Despite the years of public attacks, Trump and Obama appeared cordial when they sat near each other at former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral. But Trump’s latest rant suggests that whenever Obama’s name is mentioned — even in a Fox News segment about ICE numbers — the president still cannot resist firing back.
