Donald Trump’s closest aide is facing fresh scrutiny after her own estranged brother spoke out about what he called her “very unhealthy” relationship with the 80-year-old president.
Natalie Harp, 34, has become one of Trump’s most visible and fiercely loyal staffers, rarely appearing far from his side. The blonde former right-wing TV host reportedly follows Trump day and night, often carrying a portable printer so she can hand him paper copies of emails, news stories and documents instead of having him read them on a screen.
That unusual job has earned her the nickname “the human printer.”
But according to Harp’s brother, Preston Harp, her devotion to Trump has crossed a line.
In an interview with The Daily Mail, Preston, 38, described Trump as a “national embarrassment” and said his sister’s bond with the president is troubling.
“She’s just like his fan club,” Preston said.
Natalie Harp first entered Trump’s world after thanking him at a 2019 Faith & Freedom Coalition event for signing the Right to Try Act, which she said helped her receive experimental treatment for bone cancer. She later worked as a host for the pro-Trump network One America News before joining Trump’s team in 2022.
From there, her role reportedly grew fast.
Harp became one of Trump’s most trusted personal aides, staying close to him during campaign stops, court appearances and White House events. She has also been seen in the Oval Office and walking alongside Trump and other top officials.
According to the new book Regime Change: Inside the Imperial Presidency of Donald Trump by New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan, Harp’s loyalty went far beyond normal staff duties.
The book claims Harp left emotional letters for Trump in his “personal spaces” before she officially joined the White House staff. One letter reportedly said, “You are all that matters to me.”
The letters allegedly alarmed Susie Wiles, who would later become Trump’s White House chief of staff. According to the book, Wiles was so startled by the messages that she wondered, “Where am I?”
Preston said he was stunned when he first learned his sister was working for Trump. He claimed he only found out after a friend showed him a 2023 Daily Mail article about Trump’s “glamorous new assistant.”
“And I had no idea,” Preston told the outlet. “And so it just kind of caused some cognitive dissonance. I don’t understand why my sister, or anyone, could want to work for Trump.”
Preston, who lives in Nicaragua, said he and Natalie have long been on very different paths. He described himself as distant from his sister and said they have not spoken since a family fallout over their father’s death in 2020.
Their father, Robert Harp, died by suicide in July 2020. Preston claimed his mother and sister wanted to say he had died in his sleep.
“It’s hard to believe that’s my sister and my mom,” Preston said. “I can’t connect with that vibe, so I’m just going to let it be.”
Concerns about Natalie Harp’s intense loyalty to Trump have also surfaced in other books about his political comeback.
In Michael Wolff’s All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America, Harp’s fixation on Trump was described as an open secret inside his orbit. Wolff claimed she wrote fawning letters to Trump around 2023, including one in which she allegedly said she was “unworthy” of his support.
The book also claimed the Secret Service became concerned by the “aggressiveness” of Harp’s attention and viewed her as a possible risk to Trump.
According to Regime Change, Trump once told staffers early in his second term that Harp “was the only one who loved him as much as his wife and his kids.”
“All of you will go off and make money,” Trump reportedly told other aides. “She’ll never leave me.”
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt defended Harp when asked about the controversy.
“Natalie Harp is one of the most loyal and hardest working aides on President Trump’s team,” Leavitt told the Daily Beast.
But the latest comments from Harp’s own brother are only adding more fuel to the growing fascination over Trump’s unusually close relationship with the aide who has become almost impossible to separate from him.

This article is absurd !That aide of Trump’s brother is estranged as the article stated and he obviously has a bad case of TDS so who can believe anything he says?? And the author obviously also has TDS and is trying to make something out of nothing! One more obvious thing to take notice of is that this publication is trying to make Trump look bad and for that reason, I will be unsubscribing!
Yes, Trump saved Natalie Harp’s life and now she is loyal to him…
She must not be very close to Trump, first we’ve heard or seen of her…
Possibly evil brother Preston Harp can get psychological counseling in Nigeria for his irrational TDS…
What is dumb bitch to hang around a pedifile and he\’s an embarrassment to Americans.
Pease, Marvin, stop making yourself look totally evil and stupid…
