Eric Trump is once again at the center of a political firestorm after exploding at former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki over comments she made about his controversial trip to China alongside President Donald Trump.

The president’s 42-year-old son went on a furious rant Friday, threatening legal action against Psaki and liberal network MS NOW after the primetime host questioned whether Eric’s overseas appearance was really just a “family trip” — or something far more complicated.

The drama erupted after Psaki used her Thursday night show to highlight a bombshell New York Times report claiming Trump’s Justice Department is weighing a stunning settlement in Donald Trump’s massive $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS. According to the report, one possible condition would reportedly shield not only Trump himself from future IRS audits, but also his family members and businesses.

Psaki didn’t hold back.

“That unprecedented protection from financial scrutiny would not just extend to Trump, but to his two adult sons and the Trump family businesses, who have all been making money off of his presidency,” she said during her broadcast.

Then she dropped the line that sent Eric into meltdown mode.

“Guess where Trump’s adult son Eric is right now? Well, he’s with his father in China.”

Psaki pointed out that Eric Trump supposedly stepped away from direct political involvement when he took over management of the Trump Organization during his father’s return to the White House — a move critics long argued was designed to avoid conflicts of interest.

“But there he is,” Psaki added sharply.

While the White House insisted there was “no conflict of interest,” Psaki questioned why Eric was present during such a high-profile diplomatic trip in the first place.

Eric clearly wasn’t happy.

In a blistering post on X, the Trump Organization executive vice president accused Psaki of spreading “blatant lies” and announced he plans to sue both the anchor and the network.

“I intend to sue @jrpsaki and @MSNOWNews,” Eric wrote.

“I have zero business interests in China. No properties, no investments, nothing!”

He insisted he joined the trip simply as “a loving son who adores my father and wouldn’t miss being by his side for this incredible moment.”

But Psaki’s criticism didn’t stop there.

During her segment, she also referenced a Financial Times report alleging that a fintech company connected to Eric Trump and the Trump family’s crypto venture, World Liberty Financial, had explored a potential partnership involving a Chinese chipmaker tied to artificial intelligence projects.

Psaki aired footage showing Eric and Donald Trump Jr. ringing the Nasdaq opening bell alongside branding for ALT5 Sigma — a company reportedly connected to the negotiations.

“While Eric is in China with his dad, the Financial Times is reporting that this company has a memorandum of understanding to explore a potential deal with a Chinese computer chip manufacturer to build AI data centers,” Psaki said.

She then added another explosive twist.

“Oh, and guess what else? Congress has warned that that company is connected to the Chinese Communist Party.”

That accusation appeared to send Eric over the edge.

“Contrary to her monolog [sic] and blatant lies, I have NEVER been on the board of ALT5 — not now, not ever,” he fired back online.

He also denied having “zero involvement in any merger discussions involving any public entity I do not run or control.”

But Psaki refused to retreat.

On Friday night, she devoted another segment to publicly fact-checking Eric’s claims and aired footage from Nasdaq’s opening bell ceremony where an announcer introduced him as an “ALT5 board member.”

“To be as fair as possible to Eric,” Psaki said, “his role at Alt Five has at the very least been complicated.”

She acknowledged he is not currently listed as a director but noted the company had previously announced he would join its board.

The increasingly bitter feud is now fueling even more scrutiny around the Trump family’s growing business empire and its ties to government contracts, cryptocurrency ventures, and foreign partnerships.

Psaki also pointed to recent reports that companies connected to Eric and Don Jr. landed lucrative Pentagon-linked deals while their father serves as president.

“Wouldn’t it be great if someone — say, the IRS — were to check?” she asked sarcastically.

For now, Eric Trump appears determined to fight back publicly — and possibly in court — as the political and financial controversy surrounding the Trump family grows even louder.

  2. Psaki should then recall, or at least be reminded that then-Vice President Biden took a total of 411 trips across 29 countries between 2009 and the 2014
One of those trips was to Beijing, China, in 2013 under the “trappings” of a family vacation. Ten days after the visit to China, Hunter Biden secured a ten percent interest in BHR Partners, a Chinese state-backed investment fund co-founded with Devon Archer and Chinese private equity executive Jonathan Li,
Hunter Biden took more than 20 trips through Andrews Air Force Base and visited 15 countries with Joe Biden.
