What was supposed to be the next big MAGA status symbol is quickly turning into a full-blown embarrassment for the Trump family.

Supporters of President Donald Trump are now openly raging online after waiting months for the flashy “T1 Phone” promised by Trump Mobile — a business venture backed by Trump’s sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump. Many loyal fans say they paid deposits nearly a year ago and still have no idea when, or if, the phones will ever arrive.

The backlash is growing louder by the day.

Trump Mobile originally promised the gold-colored “T1” smartphone would launch in August 2025. But nine months later, the company’s website still doesn’t list a release date, even as reports claim nearly 600,000 people already handed over $100 deposits to reserve one.

Now, some of Trump’s most die-hard supporters are starting to feel burned.

“Hey, Trump supporter here,” one furious man said in a TikTok video that quickly exploded online. “This one goes out to Don Jr. and Eric… where the hell’s my phone? I ordered three — no, four — gold Trump phones in the summer.”

The outrage only intensified after critics pointed out a major disclaimer buried on the Trump Mobile website. According to the site, placing a preorder “does not guarantee that a Device will be produced or made available for purchase.”

That fine print sent social media into overdrive.

“600,000 people ordered the Trump phone, put down deposits, and never got anything,” one viral X account wrote. “So where’s the $60 million?”

The Trump Organization has not publicly responded to the growing criticism.

The controversy surrounding the phone goes beyond delays. When Trump Mobile first launched, the company heavily promoted the device as being “MADE IN AMERICA,” leaning into Trump’s long-running push for U.S. manufacturing.

Donald Trump Jr. even claimed during an interview last year that the phones would eventually be fully built in the United States.

But eagle-eyed critics quickly noticed the language quietly disappeared from the company’s website only days later.

Instead of boasting that the phones were American-made, the company softened its wording dramatically. The site now says the phones were “brought to life right here in the USA,” while also claiming they are “designed with American values in mind.”

That sudden change sparked accusations that the company oversold its promises to patriotic customers eager to support a Trump-branded product.

Despite the mounting complaints, the Trump brothers previously insisted they launched Trump Mobile because they believed the wireless industry was failing consumers.

“We felt there was lackluster performance in the mobile industry,” Don Jr. said while promoting the venture. “With Trump Mobile, we’re going to be introducing a higher package of products.”

The service itself starts at $47.45 per month — a reference to Trump serving as both the 45th and 47th president.

But online, many former buyers now say they don’t care about the branding anymore. They just want to know where their phones are.

  1. It’s not unusual for a company to see how many orders they get before ordering a product to be built… although this one is taking extra long… and is a very complicated product and industry…
