President Donald Trump ignited a fresh wave of controversy early Tuesday after launching an aggressive, late-night posting spree on Truth Social that began while most Americans were asleep.

The 79-year-old president resurfaced online shortly after 2:30 a.m. Eastern, abruptly ending a four-hour lull with a post promoting a conservative article praising a federal appeals court decision that clears the way for his administration to terminate Temporary Protected Status for immigrants from Nepal, Honduras, and Nicaragua.

The ruling could strip legal protections from tens of thousands of families who have lived and worked in the U.S. for years.

Then the posts kept coming.

In rapid succession, Trump shared content attacking political enemies and fueling claims of a deep-state conspiracy against him. One post singled out Democratic Rep. Eugene Vindman. Another amplified an interview with a retired FBI agent asserting that Attorney General Pam Bondi holds “slam dunk” evidence that former federal prosecutors and agents could soon face criminal charges for allegedly targeting Trump.

No evidence was presented to support the claim.

After a short pause lasting only a few hours, Trump resumed posting again Tuesday morning. This time, he boosted messages from allies — including reposts tied to tech billionaire Elon Musk, a frequent but unpredictable Trump supporter.

The overnight blitz immediately drew attention from critics, who say Trump’s increasingly erratic online behavior has become a defining feature of his second term.

“This is not normal presidential conduct,” one Democratic strategist said. “It’s impulsive, obsessive, and it’s happening at the same time major policy decisions are being pushed through.”

Trump has doubled down on using Truth Social as his primary megaphone since returning to office, often posting personal attacks, conspiratorial accusations, and policy pronouncements without warning — and without verification. The platform has effectively become an unfiltered extension of his presidency.

The White House offered no immediate explanation for the president’s overnight activity, and it remains unclear whether staff were involved in drafting or approving the posts.

By sunrise, Trump showed no signs of slowing down.

More posts followed.
