Trump’s Jaw-Dropping Insult to Murdered Rob Reiner Sparks Outrage

Hollywood and political circles were stunned Sunday night when acclaimed filmmaker Rob Reiner, 78, and his wife Michele Reiner, 68, were found dead in their Brentwood home in what police have called an “apparent double homicide.”

“A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood,” Trump wrote. “Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.”

Trump went on to suggest that Reiner’s “raging obsession” with him may have “driven people CRAZY,” implying the couple’s murder was somehow a consequence of Reiner’s outspoken criticism of the president.

The president’s comments drew immediate backlash from across the political spectrum.

“This is both disgusting and expected,” said Ron Filipkowski, a former Republican and editor of Meidas News. “Even in tragedy, Trump can’t help but make it about himself.”
