In a chilling reminder of the Jeffrey Epstein saga, the first woman to accuse the convicted sex trafficker of abuse is again pointing fingers—and this time, it’s straight at President Donald Trump.
Maria Farmer, now in her mid-50s, says she repeatedly warned the FBI about Trump’s disturbing proximity to Epstein, even as early as the 1990s. Speaking to The New York Times, Farmer recounted a 1995 encounter with Trump that left her shaken—an encounter that allegedly involved Trump staring at her bare legs while she wore running shorts inside Epstein’s Manhattan office.
“I was terrified,” Farmer said. “It was clear something was off. He made me feel like prey.”
According to Farmer, Epstein interrupted the moment, allegedly saying, “No, no. She’s not here for you.” She later told the FBI that she overheard Trump remark that he thought she was a teenager.
This interaction, and what she witnessed behind closed doors in Epstein’s circle, led Farmer to alert the FBI not once, but twice—first in 1996, and again in 2006—urging agents to scrutinize Epstein’s high-profile associates, including Donald Trump.
At the time, Farmer had also reported to the NYPD’s Sixth Precinct that she and her 15-year-old sister, Annie, were both sexually assaulted by Epstein and his alleged madam, Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell is now serving a 20-year sentence in federal prison for trafficking and abusing young girls.
Despite her repeated warnings, Farmer says authorities ignored the Epstein network until it was too late—until victims piled up, charges were filed, and Epstein was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell in 2019 in what was officially ruled a suicide.
Now in 2025, with Trump back in the White House, Farmer has filed a federal lawsuit accusing the government of failing to protect her and others. She alleges that key information she gave to the FBI—about Trump and other Epstein insiders—was disregarded.
“Jeffrey was a predator. And he used girls like me to gain influence over powerful men,” Farmer said. “I saw them come and go. I saw what they were doing. And I spoke up. No one wanted to listen.”
Among those Farmer claims Epstein courted with young girls: Trump, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, and former President Bill Clinton. All have denied wrongdoing, though their names remain tied to the scandal.
The White House, now under Trump’s second term, issued a flat denial. Communications Director Steven Cheung claimed, “The president was never in Epstein’s office.” He added that Trump had “kicked [Epstein] out of Mar-a-Lago for being a creep.”
But photos and past statements complicate that narrative. Trump famously called Epstein a “terrific guy” in a now-infamous 2002 New York magazine article and was photographed with Epstein, Maxwell, and then-girlfriend Melania Trump multiple times throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.
Just last week, Trump filed a $10 billion lawsuit over a Wall Street Journal report that he once sent Epstein a lewd birthday sketch. At the same time, he took to Truth Social to slam those connecting him to Epstein, calling the mounting pressure from his own base “the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax.”
“They’ve been conned by the Lunatic Left for eight long years,” Trump wrote. “Let these weaklings do the Democrats’ work.”
But the accusations aren’t coming from the left. They’re coming from victims—like Farmer—who say they’ve been ignored, silenced, and sacrificed to protect the powerful.
And now, with Farmer’s claims back in the spotlight and the MAGA faithful turning their ire on their own, one thing is clear: the Epstein files aren’t going away. In fact, they may be Trump’s newest 2025 nightmare.
