Back in May 1989, Trump was the guest of honor at a high-society bash thrown by Robert Maxwell — the same man who would later die under suspicious circumstances after looting hundreds of millions from his company’s pension funds. Maxwell’s daughter Ghislaine, then a rising socialite, was also in attendance.

According to the explosive investigative book Epstein: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Trump and Maxwell weren’t just casual acquaintances. They both purchased extravagant yachts from the same shady international dealer around the same time. Robert named his after his favorite daughter: Lady Ghislaine. Trump? He dubbed his the Trump Princess — after his then-8-year-old daughter, Ivanka.
