What was supposed to be a moment of military grandeur for President Donald Trump turned into a PR disaster—at least if you ask Hillary Clinton.

On Saturday, Trump staged a $45 million military parade in Washington, D.C., to mark his 79th birthday and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. But instead of drawing thunderous applause, the event drew yawns—and sparked a firestorm of protest.

Empty Seats and Awkward Silences

Bleachers along the parade route were visibly bare. Even Trump’s own family was nowhere to be seen—Ivanka, Jared, Barron, and even First Lady Melania were absent or disengaged. At one point, cameras caught Secretary of State Marco Rubio stifling a yawn, while Melania appeared to nod off during the procession.

Social media lit up with criticism. “Trump’s ‘look at me’ parade flopped,” one user posted on X. “Another epic waste of OUR taxpayer dollars.”

Clinton Strikes Back

But it was Hillary Clinton who delivered the most devastating blow. In a pointed Instagram post Sunday morning, she posted side-by-side photos: Trump’s parade with scattered attendees—and then the massive crowds from the “No Kings” protest movement that erupted nationwide the same day.

“Compare and contrast scenes from yesterday in America,” Clinton wrote. “On the one hand, Trump’s low-energy Dear Leader parade (that cost you $45 million). On the other, millions gathering peacefully to say: Here, we have no kings.”

Nationwide Uprising Against Authoritarianism

The “No Kings” protests were organized as a direct challenge to what demonstrators say is Trump’s authoritarian drift. According to organizers, rallies took place in all 50 states, with over 2,000 marches and an estimated several million people taking part.

“This was an action to reject authoritarianism,” organizers said in a statement. “The president’s military spectacle was meant to intimidate. We showed up to say: not on our watch.”

Tensions Rise Over ICE Raids and Military Deployment

The protests also come amid national outrage over Trump’s ICE crackdown. Over the past month, federal raids targeting undocumented families have escalated sharply. Things boiled over last week when Trump deployed 4,000 National Guard troops and 700 Marines to Los Angeles to quell demonstrations—without informing Governor Gavin Newsom or L.A. Mayor Karen Bass.

“This is not what democracy looks like,” Mayor Bass told MSNBC. “Sending in military force against peaceful protesters is a red line.”

Clinton echoed those sentiments earlier this week on X: “The right to peacefully protest is fundamental. It is in the Constitution. No president can nullify it—because in the United States of America, we have no kings.”

Trump Spins, Clinton Roars

Trump, as usual, took to Truth Social to spin the optics in his favor: “What a GREAT Parade. THANK YOU, ARMY!”

He also tried to deflect concerns about the weather forecast, declaring hours before kickoff, “OUR GREAT MILITARY PARADE IS ON, RAIN OR SHINE. REMEMBER, A RAINY DAY PARADE BRINGS GOOD LUCK.”

But as photos from the event flooded in—showing nearly empty bleachers, low enthusiasm, and an absent inner circle—critics had all the ammo they needed.

Clinton’s post may have summed it up best: “In America, we don’t do kings. We do the people.”

    1. Leave it to WOKE NextGen to focus on Crooked Hitlery’s lies!
Democrats love their kings such as dictator Jokementia Bribery and criminal George Floyd!

  1. Hillary is a lying putirid pile of rat shit!! This weak excuse of a human is the lowest of the low and anything coming out of her mouth criticizing Donald Trump is just more bullshit peddling by the most corrupt, foul mouthed ego maniac on the planet.

  2. So many people were looking for an exciting military review even my son and what my son and others said was not good because it was not exciting. Being a former Marine I had to explain to him that it was the Army’s birthday parade and was also a history lesson about what the ARMY was all about. In my view it was educational and respectful honoring the ARMY. Wait did I just gave the Army an approval rating. Just kidding a Marine thing. I had to stop when it came to Vietnam. The skies were not the best on T/V but must have been better in person. GOD bless the Army and all that will serve and never forget the fallen.

  3. show me something she was wrong about, oh, and for you 1st few, tell me her convictions. want me to name trump’s 34? i’m an ind., but i can name them. dare me?

  4. Yeah I can
Who in America can defy a subpoena by destroying email evidence and even destroying with hammers the cell phones used and escape prosecution? Only Hillary… no wait and Biden with 170 SAR REPORTS. Now that’s corrupt they both really should be in prison not on fake charges like they did to Trump but real criminal activity!!!

As to the parade it was as it should be.

But how about investigating the protestors who claim they were paid to protest?? If true, I’ll bet the CCP or Soros will be the behind them!

  5. You should be ashamed! Millions of Army men and women have died for you to make such a ridiculous statement!

  6. Ya Hillary there is a reason for empty seats. No American loving citizens want to be harmed by your paid slaves. Just shut up and go away. You lost because you really thought you won that 2016 election. That’s what happens when you don’t rig elections. Like I said that is only way democrats win is by cheating. See us deplorable’s are far smarter then you. Don’t just go but go away for good.

    1. The Democrat weatherpeople also predicted rain for the whole day… which mostly didn’t happen…
