A chilling federal affidavit unsealed Friday revealed a disturbing case of homegrown extremism: a Wisconsin teenager murdered his own parents as part of a violent plan to assassinate former President Donald Trump and incite a race-based civil war in America.
Seventeen-year-old Nikita Casap is accused of carrying out the double murder on February 11 at his family’s home in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Authorities say he remained in the house with the bodies for nearly two weeks before fleeing to Kansas, where he was eventually apprehended.
According to a newly unsealed search warrant, Casap left behind a “manifesto” outlining a grotesque and racially charged mission: to assassinate Trump, build explosives, and organize mass-casualty terrorist attacks. The motive? To trigger a so-called political revolution and “save the white race” from what he described as “Jewish-controlled politicians.”
“The killing of his parents appeared to be an effort to obtain the financial means and autonomy necessary to carry out his plan,” the warrant states.
Federal investigators discovered extensive evidence tying Casap to the Order of Nine Angles, a violent, satanic neo-Nazi organization known for its advocacy of terrorism and accelerationist ideology. On his phone, agents found images of Adolf Hitler captioned with “HAIL HITLER HAIL THE WHITE RACE HAIL VICTORY.”
In his manifesto, Casap reportedly wrote, “By getting rid of the president and perhaps the vice president, that is guaranteed to bring in some chaos.” His writings described the murder of his parents as a necessary step in a broader campaign of white nationalist violence.
Casap is currently facing state murder charges and is expected to be arraigned on May 7. Federal terrorism-related charges may follow as the investigation deepens.
Waukesha County officials have remained tight-lipped about security threats related to the case, but one source familiar with the investigation told local media, “This wasn’t just a murder. This was an attempted act of political terrorism rooted in violent white supremacy.”
The case raises serious concerns about how online extremism continues to radicalize young Americans—often without detection. Casap’s ideology echoes growing threats tracked by federal agencies over the last several years, particularly among accelerationist factions that seek to plunge the U.S. into chaos through political violence.
For many watching the case unfold, the bigger question is: How many more Nikita Casaps are out there, quietly plotting in the shadows of hate forums and extremist echo chambers?
And how close are we, really, to the edge of something far darker than we’ve seen before?
