In a move that has Washington buzzing, Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-Pa.), a key GOP leader in the House, has split from his wife and is now dating Fox News Digital correspondent Brooke Singman. The pair have been making public appearances together, fueling speculation about their relationship and its broader political implications.

Sources confirm that Reschenthaler, 41, and Singman, 32, were first spotted together at a Library of Congress event last week. “The dynamic looked romantic in nature,” one attendee observed. Their relationship appears to have begun in January, two months after Reschenthaler separated from his wife, Jennifer, whom he married in 2021.

The Fox News Connection

Singman, a rising figure at Fox News, first crossed paths with Reschenthaler in October while covering a Donald Trump campaign stop in Pennsylvania—a critical swing state where Trump attempted to stage an optics-heavy fast-food moment at McDonald’s. Singman’s reporting at the time focused on Republican criticism of Vice President Kamala Harris, a key theme in the conservative media ecosystem. While some might question the ethics of a journalist dating a politician, a source close to the couple insists there is no conflict of interest. “She doesn’t cover Congress,” they said, “so it’s not an issue.”

Yet, the relationship raises concerns about the increasingly blurred lines between the GOP and its most loyal media allies. Singman has enjoyed a meteoric rise within Fox News, beginning as an assistant to network president Jay Wallace before moving in front of the camera. Her access to Trump is notable—she secured an exclusive interview with him as recently as March 6. Given Trump’s history of rewarding loyal media figures with government positions, some insiders speculate about Singman’s potential ambitions in a possible second Trump administration.

Trump’s Endorsement—of the Relationship?

The former president himself seems fond of Reschenthaler. During a White House St. Patrick’s Day event, Trump singled out the Pennsylvania congressman, saying, “You know Reschenthaler—he’s… that’s actually the way you pronounce it, you know. Nobody else gets it right, but I got it right.” It was a typical Trumpian aside—equal parts self-congratulatory and performative—but it underscores Reschenthaler’s standing within the MAGA movement.

A Complicated Past

Before entering politics, Reschenthaler served in the Navy’s Judge Advocate General Corps and gained notoriety for defending a Navy SEAL accused of covering up an assault on an Iraqi detainee. His political career has been characterized by unwavering loyalty to Trump, a stance that could be further cemented by his relationship with a Fox News insider.

While neither Reschenthaler nor Singman have commented publicly, the relationship underscores the ever-tightening nexus between conservative politics and right-wing media. With the 2024 election cycle still fresh in American minds and 2026 already on the horizon, this romance may be more than just a personal affair—it could be a strategic alliance in an increasingly transactional political landscape.

  1. How much fun!!  Many of us have fantasies about \”F*****g\” Fox but he may have taken it to a different level.

  2. At least he’s not dating representative Slowell’s girlfriend, fang fang! I don’t seem to see any shady Democrats ever reported on through this site. Of course, none of them get in trouble.
