A Maryland man’s airport meltdown turned into a full-blown disaster after he threw a brutal punch at a United Airlines gate agent—and the whole chaotic scene, including his arrest, was caught on camera.

It all went down at Dulles International Airport on Thursday when 54-year-old Christopher Stuart Crittenden lost his temper over flight delays. Frustrated and furious, he shouted, “I’m done with this bulls***” before suddenly launching a shocking punch at the gate agent blocking him from boarding.

The hit was so intense it sent the agent crashing to the floor, leaving bystanders gasping in shock before the video cut out.

In footage obtained by TMZ, Crittenden showed zero remorse while being cuffed and led away by police. Instead of cooling down, he kept screaming, “United sucks!”—a moment that actually got cheers from some onlookers.

A fellow passenger told TMZ that Crittenden had been fuming all day after his first flight was canceled. His next flight was full, and even after securing a seat on a third one, he was still raging over the delays.

When the gate agent tried explaining the situation, things escalated. Crittenden allegedly threw the punch, then, according to reports, even tried to go behind the counter to take a swing at the pilot before getting tackled.

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority confirmed that the injured gate agent was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, United Airlines wasted no time responding, announcing that Crittenden—who is a retired Montgomery County Fire Department Captain—is permanently banned from flying with them ever again.

Now, he’s facing serious charges of assault and disorderly conduct.
