Model and actress Kate Upton has her 6.6 million Instagram followers concerned and confused after a cryptic story on her account Friday night.
In an unexpected twist, the 32-year-old detailed a chilling scenario about a father, recently out of rehab, who endangered his young daughter in an unsettling encounter.
Upton’s post, which included a call for advice from lawyers, judges, and law enforcement, painted a dark picture. “A Dad, recently out of rehab, is traveling alone with his 10-year-old daughter. He gets drunk and high on pills, says he has a gun on him, and threatens to SHOOT the taxi driver if he does NOT drop them off on the highway at midnight to walk home,” she shared.
The disturbing situation didn’t stop there. Upton described how the courageous taxi driver refused to leave the young girl stranded, reportedly preferring to “be shot” rather than put the child at risk. “Is this an emergency? A crime? Would you be scared for your child?” Upton asked, leaving her audience in suspense and sparking a flurry of worried comments.
The motive behind Upton’s post remains a mystery. Fans are left wondering if it’s a personal experience, a plea for awareness, or even a cautionary tale. Neither Upton nor her husband, MLB pitcher Justin Verlander, has given further context.
