The 2024 presidential election just took another bizarre turn. A massive 43-foot statue of former President Donald Trump has appeared outside Las Vegas, depicting the ex-POTUS in nothing but his birthday suit.
The towering figure, named “Crooked and Obscene,” stands along Interstate 15 en route to Utah. While we’ve had to blur certain parts of the statue, it’s clear: Trump wears no clothes. The artist behind the provocative piece seems to be making a bold statement, referencing both the man and the controversy surrounding him.
Constructed from foam over rebar, the statue weighs a staggering 6,000 pounds and even features movable arms, making it a giant marionette. Whether or not other parts of the statue move is still up for debate.
Installed late Friday, the team behind the artwork aims to spark conversations about the upcoming election. Unless there’s significant backlash, the statue is expected to remain in place through early November.
This isn’t the first time Trump has been depicted in such a revealing way. Back in 2016, during his initial presidential run, a series of nude statues featuring Trump popped up in public spaces. One even ended up in Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum in Vegas, after the paranormal collector shelled out $28,000 for it.
Will this new giant Trump statue find a permanent home once the election is over? Only time will tell.
