Savannah Guthrie is publishing a book geared towards readers who are struggling with their faith. Mostly What God Does is set to release on February 20, 2024 with Thomas Nelson publishing.
Guthrie shared the announcement with viewers on a Tuesday segment of Today, which she co-hosts, and discussed the impact God has had on her life.
The 51-year-old Emmy recipient has been known among her colleagues to use her faith to connect with interviewees, as shown by the montage that aired during her announcement.
“I am so passionate about faith, how it can challenge us and inspire us, and it is at the heart of a new project that I am excited to reveal right now,” she said.
“It’s very personal, which is why I’m in tears about it, but also really overjoyed and delighted, but scared because it’s certainly the most personal and vulnerable thing I’ve ever done.”
Guthrie’s co-anchor Hoda Kotb chimed in, saying that she’s already read parts of the book and knows it will speak to every religious person.
“It doesn’t matter your background. It doesn’t matter your faith. When you read this book, you’ll be touched,” she said.
