Unbelievably, on April 24, 2023, a bold gang of burglars planned a heinous house invasion in Baramati, Maharashtra, India.
The realtor’s wife was forced to a terrifying encounter in front of her own children, and the thieves stole things valued at over Rs 1.07 crore ($128,959). The crime sent shockwaves through the quiet neighborhood. This bold crime, supported by an unanticipated collaborator, has shocked and unsettled the town.
The Disturbing Theft
Trupti Gofne, the realtor Sagar Gofne’s wife, lived at the targeted house in Devkate Nagar, Baramati. The regrettable event transpired while Sagar Gofne was away, attending the temple of Tirupati Balaji. Just about eight o’clock at night fell, a group of six men broke into the building. Trupti Gofne was brutally attacked and restrained during the horrifying series of events that ensued, while her children watched on in horror.
Trupti was physically abused by her attackers, who showed little respect for the privacy of a family home.
They also shackled her hands and legs and used a rag to silence her. The vicious thieves fled with an incredible haul that included two cell phones valued at Rs 35,000 ($421.81), gold jewellery worth Rs 11,59,300 ($13,972), and cash worth Rs 95.30 lakh ($114,858). The town was shocked and the family was traumatized by the daring and well-executed theft.
Exposing the Alleged
Without any delay, the incident was investigated by the local authorities. The six culprits were identified as Nitin Arjun further, Rayba Tanaji Chavan, Ravindra Shivaji Bhosale, Duryodhan alias Deepak alias Pappu Jadhav, Nitin Ashok Jagdhane, and—unexpectedly—astrologer Ramchandra Weaman Chavan as further information came to light. The Pune rural police managed to capture all six of them, solving the mystery surrounding this bold crime.

The astrologer then approved the plan and used his knowledge to choose a good time to pull off the crime.
